According to Rep. Hank Johnson Guam could potentially capsize... but I lived on Guam for half my life. We had typhoons with 200+ mph winds and 40 foot waves and the island only capsized once. But we all hung on to the east side and flipped it back around quickly so we were all okay. Thank you Congressman for caring.

Guam was part of the Treaty of Paris after the Spanish-American War. Spain colonized Guam and we liberated it..... by colonizing it ourselves. Kind of. They are a self-governed district like Puerto Rico. They are US citizens, except we still need a passport to go.
