Turkish is a very symbolic, emotional and imagery language. Much is illustrated or explained by symbols, comparisons. E.g. objects or states, even emotions can be personified. In this song love is personified and sung about it as a person. Of course, there is also a certain person behind this personified love, who the artist didn't want to address directly. "The Sleep" is also personified and even “pluralized” here, the singer fight's against several “sleeps”. Therefore the translations are so difficult. Nevertheless I tried to translate it. For the sake of clarity I expressed the personification with capital letters. The original Song is by Zerrin Özer. She sang this song for her boyfriend Kerim Tekin who died very young and who was also a well-known singer. She never got over his death and you can see the pain she has, when she sings the song. @@veedo5980 Doğru olabilir teşekkür ederim. Kar beyazdır ölüm şarkısınında Linkini verdim zaten yazıda, orda Kerim Tekin sanırım yanlız söylüyor şarkıyı.. Kerim Tekinin ölümünden sonra Zerrin Özer genelde onun için okudu Kıyamam şarkısını. Bu arada discography'e baktım hem Kıyamam hemde Karbeyazdır Ölüm şarkısı ikiside 1997 de çıkmış, Kıyamam Haziran'da, Karbeyazdır Ölüm temmuzda. Kerim Tekin 1 sene sonra, 1998 Haziran'da vefat etmiş. 😞
