Good presentation. Although in imho a healthy mix of long term contracts with a sealing and a base,and contacts to spot market is good ensurance for a mine in case something unexpected happens,like a government stepping in a putting a sealing on it because it's a strategic commodity.

Uranium Insider is a great investment letter to subscribe to if you are interested in the space. From what they say, miners have been in the spot market to be able to supply customers which is crazy. Sprott is gobbling up any spare capacity that it finds. It looks like a fundamental shortage that will not be filled adequately for years.

Using the Futures market to hedge a falling market possibility. If you think the Uranium market will drop but you are a supplier , you can short the futures or ETF on the paper market. A supplier can also use a percentage of supply at a fixed guaranteed price for future supply to clients.

Yet, my ton of SPUT U3O8 keeps losing weight by 0.028% per day. That is a loss of weight by about 1.5% a year based on the Sprott's online calculator. What's up with that?
