Further Notes- personal Study on Zillah. In order to gain a deeper understanding of what Zillah might represent in the context of Apostle Arome Osayi's sermon and from a biblical perspective, we need to look into the biblical references concerning Zillah, particularly from Genesis. Here is a closer examination: 1. Zillah in Genesis: Basic Biblical Reference Zillah is introduced in Genesis 4:19-22: “Lamech took two wives. The name of one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and raise livestock. His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play stringed instruments and pipes. Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of bronze and iron. Tubal-Cain’s sister was Naamah.” Zillah is the wife of Lamech and the mother of Tubal-Cain and Naamah. 2. Zillah's Offspring and Their Significance The children of Zillah play significant roles in the civilisation of Cain, specifically Tubal-Cain: Tubal-Cain is described as “an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron.” This means he was involved in metalworking, particularly in creating tools and weapons. The birth of Tubal-Cain represents a pivotal development in the technology and capabilities of humanity, symbolising the advancement of human industry and the creation of tools that can be used for self-defence and warfare. 3. Spiritual Symbolism of Zillah's Role Symbol of Technological Advancement: Zillah, through her son Tubal-Cain, represents the introduction of metallurgy-creating tools, weapons, and instruments. This technological advancement is not neutral; in the context of Cain’s civilisation, it symbolises the creation of tools that enable self-reliance, aggression, and the assertion of human power without dependence on God. Infrastructure of Self-Reliance: If we align this with Apostle Arome’s interpretation, Zillah can represent an infrastructure or system that promotes a reliance on human capability, invention, and technological prowess, rather than on God’s protection and provision. This fits the broader theme of Cain’s civilization, where human ingenuity replaces divine dependence. 4. Connection to Lamech's Declaration In Genesis 4:23-24, Lamech speaks to his wives, Adah and Zillah: “Lamech said to his wives, ‘Adah and Zillah, listen to me; wives of Lamech, hear my words. I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for injuring me. If Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times.’” This declaration is often seen as a sign of pride and violence, where Lamech boasts of his actions without any apparent remorse, contrasting the mark of protection God placed on Cain. Zillah's involvement, being the mother of Tubal-Cain who creates weapons, symbolises a culture where violence and aggression become institutionalised, contributing to a godless society that prizes power over divine reverence. 5. Comparing Zillah and Adah's Roles Adah is interpreted by Apostle Arome as representing "adornment"-the focus on external beauty and attraction, which can distract the soul from God. Zillah goes beyond attraction, representing the deeper entrenchment into self-sufficiency through technology, industry, and security. While Adah may symbolise the superficial distractions, Zillah symbolises the deeper, more structural changes in society that shift reliance from God to human strength and innovation. 6. Broader Biblical and Theological Implications The advancement that Zillah’s son brings can be seen as part of the broader biblical theme of humanity's move away from God’s direct guidance to self-governance. Throughout scripture, there is a pattern where technology and human achievements, when disconnected from God, lead to pride and rebellion (e.g., the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11). The tools and weapons created by Tubal-Cain could represent how human ingenuity, though a gift from God, can be used to create systems and structures that ultimately promote self-reliance and violence, rather than dependence on God. Summary of Zillah's Symbolism Zillah represents the infrastructure of technological advancement and self-reliance in a society that seeks to exist apart from God. This includes the creation of tools for self-defence (weapons) and represents the underlying systems that support a civilisation of self-sufficiency and independence from divine intervention. In spiritual terms, Zillah’s presence in Lamech’s household symbolises how human progress and innovation, while inherently good, can become part of Satan's strategy to build a society where God is unnecessary, focusing instead on human abilities and pride. By exploring the role of Zillah through her connection to Tubal-Cain, and how Apostle Arome uses her as an example, we see that she represents a more structural and systemic layer of distraction-a society fortified by human achievements but spiritually distant from God.

For 2 years, I have been hearing spiritual songs. Sometimes, they are so loud that I have to sing or go searching for the songs. Some days, these songs play all day in my spirit. And I find myself singing them in my prayer place. Some of the songs are not even available. Some are so old before my time. I am in my 20s, saved and I love God so much that everything is vanity. I want every young person like myself to experience God in the capacity I have experienced HIM. GLORY TO GOD.

I've heard Apostle mention at different times that musical instruments are divided into 2 classes. Musical instruments classes are divided into 4 though. Strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion. Some would even add keyboard to make 5, since it doesn't fall under any of the 4 in a clear manner. 🙏

These 4 you talked about are actually sub divisions. The string and the wind instruments are the main class. Even the keyboard you talk about is a synthesized sound from the two original classes. If you know the original piano, it is actually a string instrument.

@@WinniesConcept Actually there were 3 original main classes. Strings, winds and percussions (drums, tambourines and co are neither strings nor winds). It was only winds that was subdivided into woodwinds and brass.

@@Jesse-v6b smiles. Okay let me explain apostles point. YES there are three types of musical instruments, if not four (plus your vocals which is its own instrument but falls under the wind instruments). But since we are talking about instruments carved by hands or artificial instruments, then we have three. Music fundamental components are; Melody, rhythm and harmony. Percussion instrument are rhythmic instruments, but when we talk about music, it’s more about the melody. And let’s say rhythm is crucial, then both string and wind instruments follows rhythmic progression without percussion. It’s just like in a church setting, when they play with the drums only, the song takes an acapella shape until a string instrument (piano) or wind instruments comes in. Music will make sense even without percussion that’s what I’m trying to say. Just like apostle said, the fundamental types of musical instruments are wind and string instruments (just because both wind and string instrument can be melodic and rhythmic even without the percussion instrument.

@@WinniesConcept 😁 I see the point you're trying to drive at. But we still can't take percussion out of music if we're being really honest (going by the most basic definition of music). Besides, drums, tambourines and clashing cymbals were used in the Bible, and they are as old as any stringed or wind instrument. Those were even some of the musical instruments for the priests and levites...along with horns and harps. And not all percussion are only rhythmic too. Xylophone for instance is also melodic. Also the keyboard you mentioned earlier, what I even originally learnt in my music class was that it was a percussion instrument. I think the idea of it being a music class on its own is a more recent thing.

Nah zillah means shade shadow......practical example is the American dream that seem to make babylon a place of succour a shade apart from God but its a shadow...no substance..... fleeting

@@damioludipe The first wife's name means ornaments this basically is the mother of jewelleries while the second means shade like for example the shading of the eyes and lips the skin for example tattoos cosmetic adjustments : this is the reason why he says he will not talk about it....

Thank you Son of God : it's not that putting jewellaries and applying make ups is bad but the descendants of Cain did it to cover up something they lost and that's the glory We lost in Eden... But no gold or silver or cosmetics can be compensate equally the Glory of God... But thank Jesus the hope of all glory Amen
