I have the powermatic 2 and love it. I've found that when you load the hopper keep the blade/pusher closed...pack the corner on top of the cutter with your tobacco with just enough to fill that corner. Then open it allowing the tobacco to fall into the injection chamber. Close the cutter enough to cut whatever is sticking out but don't close the switch completely. Re-open the injection chamber and allow whatever tobacco was cut off to fall in. Proceed to close the switch completely to activate the pusher. Haven't had any problems using this machine this way with zero jams. And i smoke 100's

I just bought the Poweroll 2 based on your review and love it, thanks! This thing smokes my Topomatic 2 and stuffs them solid to the filter on 100s unlike the T2.

Hey would you say the power roll is better than the powermatic cause the powermatic is all I have used....everywhere I've seen the powerful is more expensive that the powermatic is about have the price.

I've only had my Powermatic 2 for 3 months and something's wrong with it. When you put the tobacco in it makes a LOUD grinding kind of noise and won't fill the tubes. Hubby cleaned it and said there was a lot of tobacco in a hole on the underside of the machine. The instructions say nothing about cleaning this or taking it apart. Anyone have an idea of what we're doing wrong??? Thank you

Idk I use my fingers for the power roll😂I have small fingers tho. Let me know if you have issues with this. I am having issues after a year and half of having it. Cleaned out the bottom cleaned the chamber. Turned it off and on. Cleaned off the sensor. Still nothing 😒

I had the poweroll 2. I used every single day for 3 years. It finally wore out a few weeks ago. Great machine. Don't have the money right now to replace it. So I order a gerui off ebay for $12. Works pretty good, still working the kinks out. Its getting there. Was having problems with the cherry falling off. I like it though. For those of you that have one of these. Adjust the plastic screw, that you push down to put the tube on. That helps alot.

I've just become interested in rolling my own. I smoke Marlboro 100 lights can you suggest a tobacco that would work for me. Also what's the difference in the tubes.some are full flavor some are white thanks for your help

Kentucky Select pipe tobacco (I use the blue color bag for light menthol with gambler gold/aka light tube) makes a perfect marlboro light menthol....my friends use the yellow color bag for ex marlboro light/med smoker..changing tube for more or less strength

​@@jerrywlambert I got my Powermatic 3 plus about 4 months ago. I'm at almost 8000 cigs (between me and my roommate) and I wished I'd have bought this when they first come out. I love it. Once you figure out a few tricks, it's the well worth the money. One of the tricks is being able to hear when it's about to get clogged, and how to prevent it from happening. When I get on a roll, before I pack the cig I just rolled and placed into a container, the machine has already rolled another.

The Powermatic II is an awesome machine. What some people don't realize is that the tobacco (pipe-cut) used during operation must be fresh/moist in order to allow the machine to operate correctly. Dry tobacco will bind, give a red light. I've had zero problems with my Powermatic II, save a few jams when I first got her. See where I'm going? Keep swinging, fellas, and saving ten dollars a day.

If you're aiming for $1 a pack, use the class L pipe-cut tobacco and cheap tubes. The tube-cut tobacco (tax class J) is more expensive, but it makes a better cigarette and doesn't stress the machine so much. You can hear it. The injector is hard brass, not going to break. But motors don't last forever, and so be nice to your machine. Furthermore, I recommend you don't put marijuana in there instead of tobacco. It won't work. I tried it.

Cigs are about 10 bucks a pack where I live so I'm going to try rolling my own again. Just never got really good results when the $7 top machine, tough to get them packed near the filter. I realize now my hands are more arthritic and really ache after rolling 10 or so. Thanks for your video, I wondered if these machines were worth it. Can't wait to get one 🤗

Look for Powermatic III. Your hands will thank you. Bought mine a month ago and made 30 cigs first day. Din't want to push a brand new machine. Made 50 second day. That was enough for 3 days. 5th day I sat behind it and made 500 in a row!!! You can put enough tobacco for 30 cigs in the compartment and then just push a button. Feels the tubes well.. no extra work.

Hi Jenny. You're either not getting enough tobacco in your tubes, or you're not packing them well after stuffing the tubes. These are really good for packing. The dividers makes it so that you don't have to fill or partially fill the boxes. Also, if you're doing a lot of them at a time, and then just stashing the rest away for a while, invest in a cigar humidor. They're about 30 bucks give or take, and that will help with the tobac expanding and coming loose inside the tube. Also makes for a nice box to just keep your smokes in.

But I have to say that the Powermatic is better at packing the cigarettes and is easier overall. Thanks for a great video...!
