Cell Cycle or Cell division complete lecture: Interphase, Mitosis and Meiosis

Hi, thanks for watching my video about Cell Cycle or Cell Division
A cell cycle is a series of events that takes place in a cell as it grows and divides. A cell spends most of its time in what is called interphase, and during this time it grows, replicates its chromosomes, and prepares for cell division. The cell then leaves interphase, undergoes mitosis, and completes its division.
In some cells like Gamete cells cell cycle completes by meiosis after interphase.
In this video i’ll walk you through:

- Interphase, sub phases of interphase e.g G1 phase, S or synthesis phase and G2 phase
- Introduction to Mitosis, Importance of Mitosis, Phases of Mitosis i.e, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase and Telophase.
- Introduction to meiosis, Importance of Meiosis, Phase of Meiosis i.e, Prophase 1: Sub phases of Prophase 1 of meiosis ( leptotene, Zygotene, Pachytene, Diplotene and Diakinesis) Metaphase 1, Anaphase 1 and telophase 1.
- Basic concept about Cytokinesis of Cell cycle.
