Your main thought about the mind and Satan's fall and Edenian deception aren't Biblical. You make alot of suppositions that is not backed up with Bible verses. Ellen White explains them differently as well. Our Sabbath School lesson of 2nd Quarter 2018 explains it all differently too. Most importantly, the Bible explains it differently. Never have I heard the word of God like this, yet my spirit recognizes the truth it bears. My biggest take away from this sermon is How connected the whole Bible is and how generous God is to help me overcome my "broken temples". I love the way when God wants to make a point he shows it over and over and over and over. He is the best teacher! I really felt called out but thankful that God would take the time to call me out. He is such an amazing, loving and generous God and he desires for all of us to bring forth much fruit. I was really filled with awe at how awesome Jesus is and how strong his mind is and was to overcome the enemy and it was crazy amazing to see the correlation between the grounds and the temptations in the wilderness. When it said this mind which is also in Christ be in you verse. It was like wow that verse made so much more sense than ever!

@@powerofthelamb I always knew that Adam and Eve lossed their sanity when they disobeyed God and hid from him. I was not aware of the tactic by which that fear was brought about by the enemy and how he repeated it all throughout earth's history in light of the parable. I believe that faith is sanity and when we lose faith we lose our minds. The only way to restore sanity in humanity is to restore humanity's faith in God. The enemy knows that if the word becomes an offence to us, it will cease to be a defense from him. Unfortunately, the topic of mental health is generally separated from the Great Controversy, but the battle for our minds is the battle for our mental health in the heavenly aspect. To be whole is to behold and you shed a flood of light on this truth. I'm eternally grateful for it. I have new found confidence to face my mental health issues and help others. May God bless you and continue to use you in your ministry. Thank you 🙏

I love this message! I sorta understood this all along, and have of course experienced it as God has helped me to grow spiritually over the years! You put this into words nicely and have a huge talent of connecting the scriptures. @@powerofthelamb your sermons are always inspiring but I notice that pastors are shying away from divorce and telling it exactly the way the bible describes it and how serious it is. There are so many divorces in the church and I'm a victim a also. My wife divorced me for irreconcilable differences and the biggest differences was that she was a Christian who didn't believe in all parts of the Bible. She is a sweet woman but the cares of this world is what is choking the word out of her. Houses in certain neighborhoods, certain colleges for the kids at any cost, fashion, social media, and making money. Prosperity gospel basically. Irreconcilable differences is nothing but selfishness.🙏✌

So, are you saying that Lucifer, was not responsible for his actions? Because when we say someone is mentally ill we are also saying that they can't beheld accountable to a certain degree because they lack the mental capacity to comprehend the impact of their actions. It is my humble opinion that this teaching is dangerous. The Angels were created perfect. So, therefore they were without defect in mind and body. However, it was envy and a desire for the worship and obeidence given to Jehovah God that he coveted for himself. He knew exactly what he wanted and how to accomplish it. In fact this is the same tactic he used on Adam and Eve. In another sense you are indirectly giving Athesit fire wood by saying that God punishes those who are mentally ill and that the entire human race along with a host of fallen Angels infected by the mental illness of the one who eventually became called the devil are all psychologically innocent and that a cruel God made Adam and Eve homeless by means of eviction from the garden of Eden for something they were totally innocent of. I think your heart and message came from a good place. I just don't think you connected all of the dots. There is a story of a woman who left her church after a misguided pastor told her that God allowed her baby to die because he wanted another little Angel in Heaven. This made God appear selfish and cruel to her because God has thousands of Angels and this was her only Child. This well meaning man made God look like a monster. This was not the God of love and justice she knew and it turned her heart away. So, Lucifer, Satan, and or Devil is still using well meaning people today to actually distort who God really is and how much he truly cares. It starts with the way he treats those he calls his children. Just some food for thought and encouragement on watching how we preach and we teach. The Bible cautions us this way: do not go beyond the thing that is written. We see in part and then the fullness of the truth will be revealed. I am glad that God has given mankind time to repent this is his love that he has grace and mercy. I am glad that when Satan introduced sin, sickness, mental illness and death to mankind's first family my God put a plan in place and sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to set matters straight. He came and he walked the earth and he healed the sick, raised the dead and oh yes those plagues with mental illness he made them all whole. He demonstrated for us what God had intended for us from the beginning and what he has in store for those that love him. Tami
