You know, Dexter may seem emotionless and harsh to those at the funeral. But he's hiding his emotions. Later in the lab he's trying to find a way to bring back his three friends and give them a second chance. DeeDee comes in, not to do her usual antics, but to comfort her baby brother. He tries pushing her away before she finally just pulls him into a hug. He stiffens and tries to escape...but instead just breaks down crying.

1:54 What really tugs at my heartstrings here is that Major Glory is crying for the Powerpuff Girls, mourning deeply for the loss of those wonderful girls. As any PPG fan would know, Major Glory was the leader of the Society of Super Men, a team of super men who cruelly rejected the girls, denying them a chance to join them. The girls passed all their tests with flying colors, to the point where Major Glory himself said that their performance was “unparallel”! Yet, they cast them out… simply because they were girls! I know he’s most likely here because of his part of the “Justice Friends” show with Valhallan and the purple guy (he’s a parody of the Hulk I know, but I can’t spell his name). But still, the fact that he’s in mourning for the girls he once mistreated brings a smile to my face… and tears to my heart.
