I find it interesting that instead of being 3 different characters, they are 3 in 1, something similar to Pokemon Trainer and the Ice Climbers.

They could be considered a hybrid between Ice Climbers and Pokémon Trainer, since it’s multiple characters at the same time, but they swap between leaders, changing the attributes of the moveset

But with little twist. As they are like Ice Climbers who all members are out and helps fight, while they are able to swap with each other like Pokémon Trainer and that there are three of them. Not to mention they also have a bit of Pyra and Mythra from what I could tell from my play sessions. Buttercup has more lag but harder hitting attacks, Bubbles is faster but with lighter attacks for combos, and Blossom is in the middle. Even their side special changes depending on the character.

​@@SaddieMoonI get the feeling that Blossom is the worst of the 3 because I have seen cases where one of the trio does not stand out for being balanced, a clear example is the trio of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Uxie and Azelf stand out in defense and offense respectively, but Mesprith being balanced makes it not stand out in anything and that is why nobody uses it, well here I see a similar case Buttercup is stronger and Bubbles more agile but what does Blossom stand out in? exactly in nothing, it is only the balanced of the 3 and the one that stands out the least, so it would be advisable to use only the other 2 if you want more damage or more speed, although do not listen to me completely because I am not 100% sure.
