I can only give you one advice. Use compass in the lower screen. The enemy will show up there earlier

If you keep getting A rank it's because your ammo cost is too high, don't use dual gatlings

Okay I kept getting A rank with the Gatling guns due to the ammo cost. I used flamethrowers as suggest to get S-rank first try. Run the same build in the video but with 2x flamethrowers, Nachtreiher/46e arms, and AL-J-121/RC Jailbreak legs. When the audio line comes on for 50% missile charge, make sure you’re right on the 3 Rolly-Polly toy bots.

Flamethrowers definitely worked better than Gatling gun. I was spending too much ammo with gatling

Drop those shoulder units and equip VE-66LRAs. Don't use gatling guns, ammo cost is too high. You can also do this with a light build.

I S-Ranked this mission easily using the Laser Blade; that charge sweep can eliminate the MT groups quite happily.

When I use it, it only kills one enemy at a time

I got by with positioning and not being in the air. However, I later discovered that using manual aim makes dealing with groups on a flat plane a breeze, as you can better control the charged swing to get the whole group. @@Barney_rubble983

Try VP-66LS and VE-60SNA.. first try and one missiles was almost done... First Try S Rank Verill, Alba, TIAN-QIANG, Bornemissza, Abbot and VP-20D

I copied this to the T and still got an A Rank, wtf literally my missiles had the exact same health as the ones in the video. (Edit): I figured out that my ammo costs were too high, I switched to laser rifles and then got it first try.

Words of advice for some that are getting A rank, Be very quick at killing and make sure the missiles dont reach a certain damage percentage

Is there just a moment of Completely Unavoidable damage to one of the sub missiles in this mission? I’ve had the missiles get tagged a little bit, finished off the enemies, and then with no one there to shoot it one of the sub missiles just blows up… Edit: Nevermind, I see what happens now. The Toybox mechs Carla talks about have a missile pod as well. I wasn’t seeing that fire, and given how trigger happy they are with that, clearly I wasn’t killing them fast enough before a second salvo was launched.

Sucks that the back launchers you are using you can’t get until you complete this chapter. I’m just trying to get those parts. Haven’t beaten this mission yet.

How low of an ammo cost is needed? Tried flamethrower and needles. 20k ammo expenses missles had 90% hp each. Still A rank Update: I don't understand. Next attempt, used Flamethrower and laser rifles. 2 missles had maybe 80% hp, one tower had maybe 60% hp, 40k expenses but that got me S rank. Update 2: I think it might have been a time thing. One attempt i killed the toy boxes and it took a bit loading the next wave. The other attempt I spawn killed the ship and toy mechs loaded in faster

Literally my issue by the time I clean the wave two robots kill one side some of mission design in this game is fkn horrendous

if ur having trouble use double flame throwers and the same shoulders asthis vid. The ammo cost is too high, i think this guy was got on the lucky side on the ammo he used@@grimkxdo

@@grimkxdoMe and many people beat this mission first try without any issues. If you're having this much trouble, consider that you're playing wrong, your build doesn't work, etc.. instead of blaming the game design.

@@thanhuy2583 no dummy the mission is terribly designed and has already been ranked by multiple people as a waste of time … the fact the minions is unfune and only easy to clear while floating the whole time says enough for me it sucks

It's crazy considering how great this game is but this mission and 'Take the Uninhabited Floating City' are some of the most boring and lazy content in the entire series. It's just 5 minutes of repeatedly throwing small MT Squads at you. They must have ran out of time when developing this game because I have no idea why it's so bad when everything else is so good.
