Deluxe Pyramidas the Carrier Zord / Zeo Ultrazord 1996 toy review (Power Rangers Season 4)

Pyramidas has a special place in my heart. When I was younger in 1996 (when everyone was younger...or not born. 😅) I got the idea to bypass all the fan mail addresses and write a letter to Haim Saban himself. I sent him a hand drawn comic I made and a Zeo poster for him to sign. I included my phone number cause, you know, why tf not? Imagine my absolute shock when 2 weeks later (right after Thanksgiving) Haim himself called my house and spoke to me for about 15 minutes about the show and the upcoming Turbo movie. He asked me if I wanted anything toy wise that I didn't already have. I told him Pyramidas. I also mentioned how I had been looking for a Dragon Dagger but since it was several years old and the internet wasn't what it it today, I had never found one. He said he'd see what he could do. Another 2 weeks passed and the doorbell rang. A giant box was at my front door. In it contained a Deluxe Pyramidas, a personally signed photo of all the Zeo Ranger actors, the poster I sent him personally signed by him, a Rangers stocking ....and a very damaged but legit prop Drsgon Dagger from the show. This was one of the greatest memories of my childhood. He didn't need to do any of that. But he made my Christmas. And I'll always be grateful for that memory. ❤️

When I was younger I had collected every zord from zeo to lightspeed rescue (and the q rex from time force because it was the first automated zord made for usa)pyramidas was the only zord that eluded me.

Wow that custom pyramidas is brilliant! I was a huge huge fan of the Gold ranger. I had the action figures, the staff, I was even the gold ranger for halloween. That’s how much I loved the hood ranger. I never got my hands on pyramidas.

I like the standard pyramid mode, the warrior mode, but I'm not a fan of the ultrazord. The zords just stand on top like with the thunder ultrazord, or they stack up inside. Nothing really interchanges like on Titanus. I feel like they didn't need an ultrazord in this season. The warrior mode was massive, and probably powerful enough to take out Serpantera.

Your videos appearing in my feed always catches me by surprise. Very happy, happy surprise. Pyramidas is one of the very few 90's zord toys Id still love to have today. The others are probably Super Train Megazord and Lightspeed Megazord. All these years later and I'm still charmed by how dead simple Pyramidas is yet so grand-feeling and even a little bit cute all at the same time. And red battle zords splash of shiny golden cannons poking besides its ears somehow elevates it despite being such a small addition, and a wasteful one imo as far as the rest of Red Battlezord goes.

I never did care much for zeo as a kid, as I've gotten older I have started to appreciate more but Gold Ranger and Pyramidas were also cool even when I was young haha (mainly because of Jason for me)

2:46 you forgot the color of the plastic and the rust colored speckles the Japanese release for King Pyramider has. The Zeo release was just a solid bright yellow while the Japanese is darker with some speckles on the plastic.

If not for Titanus being a dinozord, Pyramidus would be the best carrier zord. I've always wanted a fusion of Dragonzord and Pyramidus called Emperor Dragonzord. That custom Pyramidus is insane.

can you store the Super Zeo Zords/megazord inside Pyramidas while the other zords are on top? If so, this could be a way to _technically_ create a TRUE Zeo Ultrazord ie. one involcing *all* Zords from the season.

paint it black and change the crystal at the apex to white, and you have the luxor hotel megazord. its beam is the brightest light on earth, and can blind enemies.

Maybe I'm missing some connection with the series. MMPR, Lightspeed, Time Force, and Mystic Force were the only ones I really ever watched and got invested in, but to me this thing just looks like a giant ass brick.

The missing six shard that blew off the crystal during the Battle of Lord's head and his attempt to get the crystal is in the staff because the triforians was the ones who had the castle above the Zeo Crystal during their escape they took the sixth fragment since it was out of the force field and created to gold ranger powers from it obviously since the Zeo crystal is part of the morphine grids sentient in a way it told him how to make the powers just like it told him how to make the powers in mighty Morphin pretty much it told Billy

Honestly, I hated Pyramidas. He is just a big brick with no personality to him. At least Tor was a scrappy turtle, but the ultrazord combo was just as bad. Only the original MMPR ultrazord feels like a real ultrazord to me.

@@powerrangertube yeah chariot mode is cool but at that point it's taking up twice as much as space as the biggest thing I own lol Just not practical for my living situation to go after I'd be happy just having the main zords of the season personally, and maybe the Super Zeo Zords
