Most under-rated channel on youtube. Charlie walks the talk and tells it straight. Love it when new videos come up.

Working on getting a set up like this for my 3 haul off yards piles have just been building tired of buying gravel for base. Right now I just rent one for a month and just crush what I can to get by. But start about the start up cost unless I go lease for new machines or buy older machines to get by.

How does that jaw crusher work if concrete at has imbedded rebar? Can it process that and make it though or will it clog up at the jaw?
@kennethdailey76602 жыл бұрын
There’s a magnetize belt that throws it out after being crushed.

Primary crusher for sure a jaw impacter gets real expensive for anything over 1 ft and above don’t care what bars and curtain wear pieces you buy comes down to mass and energy but 1 and smaller a impact crusher will out eat a jaw hands down and make alot of smaller agg on first pass

That's a freaking machine right there!!! Concrete was crumbling like styrofoam!!!!
@danarelyea91522 жыл бұрын
Makes it look so easy...must be massive crushing power...and takes big chunks. Wonder if based on cost of such a beast and operating costs make process an economical way of getting rid or concrete chunks and converting them into usable material? Charlie is no slouch!
@00nutt2 жыл бұрын
Dana a lot of people buy crushed concrete in place of limestone. It's a lot cheaper for a product that gets the job done but just doesn't have the curb appeal. So for construction access drive or a commercial application he can for sure sell it all day long and do well. Plus the homeowners that want to save a buck will buy it too. A lot of times companies like Mr Charlie's are paid to get rid of it so crushing it and selling it is a bonus!
@ke6gwf2 жыл бұрын
@@danarelyea9152 raw stone from the quarry has to go through a crusher just like this, so costs are about the same between crushing virgin rock or making recycled gravel. The sale price for recycled gravel is lower than for virgin gravel, but it's enough to cover the costs of the crushing generally, plus it disposes of the concrete which saves whatever that would have cost. Some customers or types of work require virgin gravel (for appearance on a nice driveway, or base layers under a freeway) , but a lot are able to use recycled crushed concrete just fine.

What’s the advantage of the jaw over the old impact crusher your used to use? Can you do differ size material or it only crushes it to one size
@memyselfandifarmer2 жыл бұрын
do not drop the butt in the crusher, you will contaminate the stone.
