Had to come back to this video just to say this sport is crazy and dangerous but have to admit its a fucking brilliant watch. It's really grown on me and I genuinely can not wait for power slap 5. The characters and the build up in suspence before a slap is just emence joy. The balls on these fellas, and the toughness is what combat sports is all about in my opinion. It's like a tough guy face off or an arm wrestle but with violence added. It's a uturn from the martial art skill factor that you see in most combat sports today and it goes right back to the roots in who can take the hardest hit and give one back, no dancing no defending just hitting and taking. It's only going to get bigger and better, I can see huge celebrity grudge matches in future, or former champions in other sports getting involved selling out huge stadiums.

Suggestion: foul signals must be more accurate. The reality is the missing fouls have real impact on outcomes. Ref on flinches - overhead cam Ref on steps - floor cam ref on Clubbing - behind striker Light activated on fight console for each. The extra slap should not be allowed on double fouls.

How did Archer vs Aragon go past the 1st round? If 3 fouls incurs a disqualification, then foul 1 for Archer was stepping on his 1st strike. Then fouls 2 & 3 were for flinching! That's a disqualification. Power slap needs to sort out judging/refereeing because atm it's a joke!💯😂😂

They need to change the rules so the sport doesn't reward those who step or foul during slapping. It would be better if they gave the victim of the foul a free or extra slap every time the opponent fouls. Alternatively, they could allow the victim to get the rest of their slaps in a row (or until they foul) and if they don't knock the fouler out then the fouler can get their slaps to see if they can knock out the victim to avoid losing due to the deducted point.

The fact this is currently referred to as a sport is beyond me. The rules are ambiguous, and many of them are open to interpretation, prime example of a 'sport' that can be used to manipulate the outcome especially when betting is involved. Some serious changes need to be made to make it not only safer, but provide a window for some sort of intelligent strategy to be formed to outwit the opponent, otherwise it just comes down to the strength of your jaw, which will worsen over time doing this so expect to see people rise and fall never to return as they become glass jaws. How boring.

It's bad technique to use chalk, you want you hand to hit and grip your opponent's face as hard as possible and the chalk in my opinion makes it slip more because of the impact. If your lifting weights and and grabbing something them you use chalk but when your hit something with force i wouldn't use chalk. Anyone agree with that?
