Powerstop caliper replacement rookie mistake! Brakes wouldn’t bleed or build pressure because the calipers were on the wrong side. The bleeder valves have to be on the top of the caliper to allow air to escape.

mannnn, Replaced the master cylinder and sent back the calipers I bought for replacements thinking they were defective just for me to notice the marking on the 2nd install haha. At least I can brake now lol

Rotor is also on the wrong side . Slotted rotors ARE directional . Also SPECIFICALLY for the left or right sides . Good luck y’all .

I can see the sticker , just not what it says . Haha , but with that said … this is the best way most of us here learn . By trying , goofing it up and going nuts for awhile figuring it out . And when it’s something this easy to fix and seems so simple in hindsight we feel like a loony toon . But you never forget the lesson !

I just ordered 2 right side brake calipers :D Have no time to wait for the left one, so if it gonna fit, I gonna try to bleed the caliper of the brake disk with a hose and spray bottle

Your disc brake rotor on the wrong side. The forward rotation should be with the groove lines going forwards. Not trailing.

For a novice do it yourselfer it's a common mistake 😂 But if you're an above average shade tree mechanic or you actually work as a tech somewhere, you better know that there is a left and right side caliper. Regardless a tech should definitely know the bleeder screw goes up or you'll never get the air out. But then again your everyday tech will make mistakes. No one is perfect...lol.
