Hes got 3.55s with 33s so he can go 70 and be at 1800 rpm right in the sweet spot for fuel economy. 7.3s get poor mileage when you want to run 70 with your 4.10s runnin 2300rpm

I rebuilt my turbo with the banks wheel and bushings it’s only like $70 on eBay. Crazy difference in the amount of boost I can make.

WW2, .85 exhaust ar housing, 3" downpipe, 3.5 straight exhaust and Hydra was getting 31ish psi, stage 1 injectors, Titan tunes, almost instant 35+psi then blows the boost gauge line. Still getting 25mpg with fuel sipper tune.

With those injectors, you should add an aftermarket valvebody, and a bigger turbo for sure. You will also need to tell your tuner about the valvebody.

Id love to see a suspension refresh. New steering linkages ball joints shocks and bushings in the front end. Restore and improve that old trucks handling, power is good but make that thing shine in drivability. Brake system refresh video as well. Ball joints and brakes forst then steerinf and other front suspension with normal parts but quality stuff. Maybe some Bilsteins and fresh springs. The most dramatic improvement in drivability ive ever felt is polyurethane suspension bushings.

@@powerstrokecentralthink it’s kc turbo has a short video of a newer body style 7.3 180/30s and a kc stage 2 turbo made 440hp and 900ish torque. Hpop makes a world of a difference even on a stock truck but especially with injectors

Get an e fuel set up. The stock mechanical pump can’t keep up with the bigger injectors and your just gonna destroy them that way.

Next time pull the little 1/8” hex plugs out of the oil rail and let the rail drain so you don’t have to go through the trouble of R&R glows plugs.

I like the 300%s with good tuning they do well for super Fun time ...not Daily Driving ..way to much chop and it makes the throttle pedal feel like it's gonna Runaway soon😂 you gotta have a stout engine though with a couple thousand in supporting mods . It's Basically a fun weekend Truck now 😂

In the near future i’m going to be doing a big overhaul on my ‘99 7.3L F-350. Planning on single shot injectors, turbo, all charge boots and clamps, intake plenums from riff raff diesel, and a hydra tuner. Should wake it up nicely.

@@robertkurtz7587, mine has some good pep in her step but it’s also because i removed the restrictive banjo bolts and check valves in the heads that restrict fuel and also added a fuel return kit onto the heads so there’s no more “deadhead” issues. I also installed a oil rail crossover line between the heads. The truck runs much smoother now and has some more power from it.

I’m building a single cab super duty 7.3 zf6 for 450-600 hp range it’s gonna be a basic sleeper street truck even if it’s still pretty slow I think 7.3s with a zf6 and some power are fun.

I put some more power to my OBS Baby Swamp Injectors, 146 cc. Adrenaline HPOP and Banks intercooler, KC drop in OBS Turbo. It would make 30 psi no trouble. I had it dyno tested here in Colorado. It made 396 HP and 700 Ft pounds of torque. It’s a 5 speed manual. It shredded a slightly better the stock clutch.. Had to go with Heavy Duty one from Thorough Bred Diesel rated for 800 HP .

I got a 97 f350 crew cab 7.3 that I shortened down from a long bed to a short bed. It gets around 20 - 22 mpgs I also have a 97 f250 extended cab long bed 7.3 it gets around 10 - -12 mpgs. It’s sucks. Don’t know why there is such a big difference between the two

I’ve put 10,000 miles on my stock replacements from them. I don’t use a tuner or anything, the truck has ran good the whole time. Not trying to convince anyone of anything just figured I would share my experience. The only thing I don’t recommend from them are their TS chips, they are hot garbage and a waste of money. I don’t think they know how to properly tune them.
