Yes Satish bhai, powertronic stock ECU ke saath hi kaam karta hai but kaam pura powertronic ka rehta hai stock ka kuch bhi nahi. Powertronic aapki problem toh solve karega but yeah digest nahi horaha ki stock bike 90 ke upar nahi jaarahi. Bajaj mai complaint karo iskeliye

@@beingCuriousRider I am riding dominar from last two years. Never felt the need for lowering the seat untill yesterday when I rode through a really bad off road terrain in the hills. Rear tyre was skidding a lot and it was very difficult to hold the bike's weight by tiptoeing. During uphill I managed somehow but while returning i.e. during downhill I was so panic striken and low on confidence that I couldn't dare. A 6 feet guy from our group later rode my bike downhill till that off road terrain ended.

Hiii i don't usually comment but this video forced me to do so.. my question is i have 2017 dominar i dont do high speed but drive in city in start stop traffic so what is i don't like in dominar which is the reason i will sell my dominar is low speed jerks i can't drive my bike and if i dont press clutch it will stall in first gear does low rpm which is between 1500 to 3000 does it fell refined and does it stall?? Because i am fed up with this bike in city for 3.5 long years if it make difference you would be saviour for me..if possible please make a video of it..thanks

Buddy try 14Teeth sprocket in front first. I am sure you will enjoy that. It's a very cheap change and helps at low end jerks

Yes with powertronic there is a connector given but you need to buy quickshifter separately for 13k. I won't recommend it since cost is high and it's single direction shifter

Hahahaha If Bajaj had corrected it's fueling in stock ecu w wouldn't have needed this but it would be fair for Bajaj since no manufacturer gives this hence market for aftermarket ecu exists and many manufacturer are trying to make there stock ecu better now with bs6 it should improve with time.

But what I find difficult to understand, a company like Bajaj, with all the money and knowledge in the world, with their associations with ktm etc... Still can't get a ECU right... I mean we shouldn't be needing to put an aftermarket ECU in the first place. Either they are really dumb or they don't care about customer feedback.

But i think things are changing and its only matter of time many manufacturer will come forward and introduce riding modes and ride by wire which in sense is right fueling like tvs has already done for apache series

Normal fuel is good to use, just try and use same fuel everytime it's difficult but manageable. Since bike is fairly new give it some time to mature and tune in

I have been using only hp normal fuel even for my pulsar bike and I am happy with it. So was wondering technically any advantage of using power fuel to FI system or any other component.

@@roninr8199 I have been using indian oil xtra premium since day 1 and from last few months have been using normal indian oil, no difference or issue faced yet. Even technically I don't think there will be any issues. Also have used shell high octane it has a extra power surge and refinement but the accesablity is a big concern so I use it only when I ride back from pune

@@beingCuriousRider so by using hp power fuel will dominar performance increase or even mileage considering driving pattern to be same. Some say power fuel has additives which might affect bike which I am not sure. Also not much price difference between ordinary fuel and power fuel.

There is no such rule for this upgrade, but would really suggest not to do it untill bike is in warranty as this will void warranty since we are changing brain of bike which is ECU. Price: Powertronic 18000+fitting K&N : 4500 Spark plug: 1600 Total: 24100

I am not a big fan of piggyback systems such as powertronic as they are pretty much doing the same thing what you can achieve with a proper dyno tune and a custom map. Powertronic works by tweaking ignition timings, throttle control mostly thus affecting your RPMs which all sounds good but this might also mess up your fuel consumption. The system might run very lean or too much fuel might enter, although ECU is able to compensate for most of such variations but with such systems installed ECU is not getting that data, piggyback system is altering that constantly. At least that is my understanding of such systems. These things won't turn your bike into something new or very different, might slightly imorove few bits while at the same time ruin few bits. This device costs about 360 USD plus delivery which comes to about 9 to 10% of the total cost of Dominar, which is a hefty investment. In India I am sure it won't be any cheaper. You must also take into account Dominar is small bike, its not even a middle weight it produces less HP amd torque than 390, overall its a good bike with the enough power for sports touring and daily urban riding and that is the exact reason I bought it for. It is not gonna win any races, because its not built for that. The power plant is the same as Duke390 just head is different. Its better to do proper on time maintenance of your dominar, small things as lubing chain every 500 kms, using good quality engine oil, run ron95 fuel, etc. I won't advise anyone to waste money on these devices, they are not worth the cost.

But what I meant is RPM fluctuations is very rare with powertronic vs the stock..
