Very hard to get decent footage in the sea I found out. Better suited to lakes with the clearest water possible.

Looks really interesting, but it's obviously a first generation product. With further development it could be great in 2 or 3 years time

Yes a gimbal or EIS would help with the footage if you use it in the sea as I did.

I know I thought about it but no means to secure the GoPro, I didn't want to lose my Hero 11 Black. It was not cheap!

Is it possible to tilt the bow down and up (e.g. - 30 and + 30 degrees) and record stable shots in this position (to record the bottom or bottom of the boat)?

Yes it's tricky but with some practice and no current or waves.

I feel if there's some stabilization on this your footage might be great even thou it have 24fps and slightly strong current.

My drone can't connect to the remote. The light on the remote doesnt turn into green. Do you ever got the same experience ? How solve ?

I have one of these and it is a pain to connect to at times. What I found works for me is to power on the base station, turn on the wi-Fi on your phone and connect to the PSA network code: 1234567890, (my android phone popped up with a "no internet" prompt, and I had to hit "connect anyway") then plug in the PowerRay and it should light up blue and the app on your phone will say connected. Hope this helps.

Find a spot? I can't find you on a map. You're all over the place. Program it to keep the same depth that way you can concentrate on throttle left and right... After about 10 minutes, I was chasing the fish, but until you do the fish pay no attention, they do the same with my Dory... I wish they had a grabber claw... I'm making one trying to implement the magnetic Bait release transmission for a trigger.

Very surprised you can't plug the 70m cable into a electrical socket or USB socket (or cigarette lighter socket). for use on a boat, etc. Could then follow Scuba Divers around (kind of like buying those photos when you bungee) or use for emergency or to see visibility on different dive sites. Another use could be to monitor divers who a decompressing in dry suits after using technical gases like Nitrox, etc. They can spend hours and hours down their so this would be really useful as a non commercial way to monitor them. oh well.....

@@Techtablets I get what you are saying, but considering all you need is a plug in cord I really don't get the point - you already have a cord, plugging in an additional power cord does not seem too difficult as it expands the drones 'swim' time to unlimited!
