Ran Takahashi Dominated Against France in Volleyball Nations League 2023 !!!

Ran is probably the only one among RJN who didn't leave the court for all 4 games (not to mention 3 games for 3 straight days). He is serving, attacking & defending with all that he has. You can see that he’s definitely tired but his determination to become the pillar of RJN and to ease Yuki’s burden was beyond everything. And him became their top scorer was just amazing!!!

Yeah ran was doing well and improve so much in superlega., To the starters 3 players didn't got replace including ran, still ISHIKAWA is the One dominating in all stats category except reception he is behind Yamamoto...in this match miyaura is only a sub but make 13 pts just 4 pts behind RAN... everyone is improving and stepping up if needed.

Ran & Yuki complements each other really well. It's always satisfying to watch their switch on defense-to-offense mode every time. Even with fatigue (4 games in a row lmao) they still top scored this match. On a side note, fortunately Miyaura also came to party on set 4 to help them win. Totally deserved that Match MVP.

If you watch the full match, you will know that the key to this game is Ran Takahashi and Yuki, they run and dig the ball all over the field and still have a good attacking game in all 3 sets before Miyaura going down.This match ran a top score of 17 points and Yuki 16 points.

True. Their serves helped take away the middle blocker quick sets of France. France's middle blocker attacks were virtually nonexistent whenever it is ran or yuki serving - they just cannot return the ball near to the net enough for quick sets! This was one major difference between japan and france that match.

BTW, do you guys think that Nishida has changes his spiking point from the top of the ball to the middle or middle top of the ball in VNL 2023. I think he did some changes in his hitting point, maybe it's for fighting against the blockers? But at the same time, I think it kinda tend to make his spikes and servers out of bounds or went into the blocks. What do you guys think ?

it's literaly the case im french and i found that the backup team is good but not enough to play in this competition as they missed like 25 of their services in this game as the real team would not play that poorly, its not hating i may be french but one of my favorite team may be japan. Their home crowd is always polite and never boos, distracts or intimidates the opposing team. They cheer for both sides and always makes the visiting players comfortable.
