Meet This 217cm Tall Volleyball Player | Bartlomiej Lemanski | Volleyball Giant !!! Bartłomiej Lemański (born 19 March 1996) is a Polish volleyball player. At the professional club level, he plays for the Polish team, Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom.
Career
Clubs
In 2014-2016 he was sent on loan to AZS Politechnika Warszawska. He was in top 10 best blockers of the 2014-15 PlusLiga season. In 2016 he joined Asseco Resovia.
National team
In 2013 alongside his national team he achieved a bronze medal of the 2013 U19 World Championship.[2] Ferdinando De Giorgi called Lemański up to the Polish national team for the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World League.

Todo sucesso ao rapaz, mas na minha opinião, quanto mais altos ficam os jogadores de vôlei no geral, mais entediante e pouco artístico fica esse esporte. Não vejo beleza nos saltos e ataques desses jogadores de 2,05m pra cima, aquela beleza que existe nos movimentos de ataque de jogadores mais "baixos", como Taylor sander, Miguel Lopez ou Ishikawa. Esses jogadores sim são interessantes de se assistir! É bonito de ver, parece que conseguem voar. 😅

Yes, but the sad truth is that height matters a lot. For example: I am 176cm tall or about 5"9' and a friend of mine is 198cm tall or 6"6'. My fingertip height is at 225cm or 7"4.5' and my friends fingertip height is at 255cm or at 8"4'. Meaning that I have to jump 30cm or 1" higher than him to get to the same point. Luckily i am a good jumper and my vert is about 80cm or at 31.5'. My friend is not a that good of a jumper and has a vert of about 50cm or 19.6'. So we get to roughly the same height. But when we are blocking he gets much higher than me because my vert relies on my approch, so yes there is an example that height matters. Also If my friend would have my vert, he would have a spike height of about 335cm which would just be insane. Sadly I dont have the height but I am working my ass off to get an even higher vert.

I would say " skill" instead of jump, bcs if you are tall, but have no skills you being on the court will be a disadvantage, that also goes for having a high jump ... what would you do with your jump if you dont know how to spike properly ??
