Japanese Volleyball Trio DESTROYED Iran in Men's VNL 2024 !!! Japanese volleyball trio is back! Ran Takahashi, Yuji Nishida and Yuki Ishikawa played together against Iran and made amazing victory in first match of the second week in Men's VNL 2024.
Ran Takahashi (髙橋 藍 or たかはしらん, Takahashi Ran, born 2 September 2001) is a Japanese male volleyball player and an Olympian. He plays as an Outside Hitter for Nippon Sport Science University's club,[2] Japan men's national volleyball team, Vero Volley Monza [3] and Suntory Sunbirds.
Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. Currently Nishida plays for Panasonic Panthers at club level.
Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakai. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6,[5] as well as Japan men's national volleyball team. Nishida led the national team to seventh place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, its best result in 29 years.
Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, Ishikawa Yūki, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture.
Ishikawa is the first volleyball player to have a wax figure in Japan.[1] Currently, his wax figure is displayed at Madame Tussauds Tokyo.

@@user-yh7vc3so5s I see 4 setters on the list of 32 registered members for Japan's national team for 2024. Aside from SEKITA, FUKATSU Akihiro, YAMAMOTO Ryu, and EIRO Motoki. However for the 14 member-list for the FUKUOKA round for VNL 2024, only SEKITA and FUKATSU were chosen. I've no clue who should be the #2 or back-up setter for the national team. I can only imagine that every decision is based on qualifying for the Olympics.

Thank you for your video. I'm happy you handled Nishida as one of trio. Japanese Media is very unfair, they say the duo, and ignore Nishida often. He got also 14 points in the match vesus Iran like Yuki and Ran, but they said, "Ishikawa and Takahashi got the highest score". Many Nischida's fans are very disappointed.
