Hello Reshma Ji! I am not sure that there would be an increase in institutes offering PsyD programs in next 3 years as the infrastructure to support such high quality training is yet to develop. Hopefully, in the next 5 to 7 years, we might see the current institutions offering MPHil might open up direct admission opportunities for candidates to pursue PsyD.

Hello. Yes, it is completely fine. If you do MPhil clinical psychology and then choose not to pursue PsyD. The minimum requirement to practise as a clinical psychologist is to do MPhil from an RCI licensed institution. PsyD is a doctoral degree program available yet for providing rigourous training in clinical psychology.

Hey Rachna, I had appeared for BM institute PDCP exam in 2022. It has around 10 mcqs with a couple of long-essay type answers followed by group discussion and then an interview. Make sure you have your master's results or else you won't be admitted
