“Dead eyes on the verge of suicide I, realize that it’s not alright” hits close to home. Every time I look in the mirror I see those dead eyes always on the verge of suicide. I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety for years now. Struggled with suicidal tendencies and every day is a fight with my own mind just to keep the suicidal thoughts away. I used to pop pills, drink, smoke, and just do any drugs just to feel “normal”. I’m stuck in a very emotionally abusive house and can’t get out, I’m about to give up on a lot of my dreams to go back to drugs bc it has been the only thing to help numb away the pain and feel somewhat decent in life. I can’t bring myself to commit suicide yet. I’ve been down the barrel of a loaded gun one to many times to realize suicide won’t get me to where I want to be. I don’t want to die I just want to get relief.

I'm going through the worst possible situations right now, like being used as a mentally drained pawn in my parents divorce, or the fact that my girlfriend is so out of my league that I'm afraid she'll leave me every time i have a free second to think. Even after that shit, I still manage to get up and go to work at 8 am with only 2 hours of sleep, work til 6 pm with a 1 hour lunch that I work through, and honestly, I guess I've just kinda proven to myself that I'm stronger than I thought I was, and I'm realizing that I for the most part don't fuck up every single aspect of my life.
