I have a PhD focus on Paranormal and Mysticism teaching. I use these videos to put myself into a meditative state while I read and write. Believe me, it really works. My mother is Lumbie, but much of my grandmother's family spent time denying it for various reasons. It's only the last several years that my mother opened up to it. She always thought she was Cherokee or part of some Blackfeet offshoot; but my sister did the genealogy search and found the appropriate records, learning differently. My mother's family always had a massively difficult time with being both black and Native. Some relatives would pretend it was another tribe or not tell the truth. I'm quite proud of knowing exactly what tribe. My mother resembles, to a tee, many of the older Native women I see in the crowd. She passes with great ease as closer to Native. She's still a wonderful lady. She's in her 90s and still with us. I'm hoping to have her still with us when I finish my PhD. Keep drumming; keeping giving us some incredibly healing, spiritual vibrations.

Not knowing the language is great for writing… any foreign language works-the drum circle adds magic to the focus!!

Fascinating! I have something to share about this. Long story, but Buffy Sainte Marie, the Cree fold singer from the 60's was just discovered to have lied the whole time about her Native origins. Turns out she was Italian/English! She was just using the right foundation and getting perfectly-timed sun-tans! That being said, I recently recorded one of her songs at a huge stone cathedral here on the Mescalero Apache reservation in New Mexico. I was so pleased with the recording that I developed an entire short film around it. In baby-form (Snapchat digital filter) I discover that my hero, Buffy, had liked, and I walk from my cabin on a journey through the mountains to find the truth. (Our reservation is IN the mountains). But what's interested in relation to your comment is that i have paranormal experience when i stumble upon the church and enter. I grew up with this live music, although I am Mexican and just happed to live at the edge of the reservation. I think it's definitely connecting to The Spirit on many levels. One is is the same language and often same chants of many generations of past tribes. The drum rhythm and vocal/musical approach is also very unique, and sound nothing like the African or Australian aboriginal tribes. The chants are based undoubtedly on a pentatonic scale: A very simple and "open" scale. Lending itself further to the mystical and those this that are open to interpretation. I appreciate your comment! At the moment i am picking out a chant from this video for a missing Crop Circle dance scene. If interested, you may view the screening of the unfinished film here on my own given paige. ( A-432 Zone). Blessings from Mescalero, New Mexico! - _The Acoustic Rabbit Hole_

I feel like the drum circle is a way to speak amongst each other beyond language. The ultimate feeling. It is even more powerful than a song on the radio. I truly hope the native people allow me to listen to one of these in person. Incredible

💥I saw them in the 90's in my hometown in Amsterdam- The Netherlands..! That was in the RAI they did their performance on stage, and...they invited people on stage to dance with them a healing dance. Quess what..they invited me on stage to do a healing dance! My sister took some photos really cool to dance with them i will never ever forget this beautiful experience! Later on i had a profound and spiritual dream of the Powwow native people. I dreamed i was there at night at a ceremony and the girls of the tribe put a yellow with green shawl on my shoulders. And yellow juwels in my hair..I feld so welcome and accepted and so special..💥🙏💥💕🌎Im so grateful for to meet them real life and that they appeared in my dream..Thank you beautiful Powwow Nation! Much Love and Light to you! 🌎✨🪽✨🕊️☄️💥🌕✨🪐🌟KEEP SHININGGG🌟💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚

Where the sky kissed the ground the Sun cooled its tounge left the metal behind purification where the beaver lodges drives the springs high above with its tail the salmon run up the mountains in the lands of Eldorado. It just seems like the great spirit is not so far away maybe its the other way around.. May we be judged by the strength of our enemies. Love thine ENEMY PRAY for the transgress. To turn the other cheek of course they can NEVER touch the spirit

Mescalero Apache Reservation here. Picking out tracks for my new film, "Buffy Sainte Marie: The Lie That Was Never Told." Will be used in my Crop Circle Dance scene. Who will be the lucky tribe? (The un-completed version can be found here at A432 Zone. All comments and critiques welcome, especially since it's not too late to tweak the final version. Today is Dec. 27, 2023. Film is in it's final stages down. (I'm actually shooting the Crop Circle dance as we speak).
