Expanding off of your point of getting slammed from angles you don't know about and not getting frustrated: I've learned that 2 things are very nice for keeping the tilt away AND learning 1: watch the killcam to learn what happened (and get some quick info sometimes) 2: ask in the chat how they pulled that off if you're uncertain

first and most improtant - DRONE, DRONE, DRONE ! just use drones propper way, take ur time if unsure or ask for info ( if ur lucky enough to have speaking mates) or call them for their abiliteis to use ( doke/lion eg. )

The frustration part is huge. Too often I’ve played with people who just say ‘surrender’ if we go 0-2 immediately. Some of those games we’ve pulled back, some we still lose but you won’t had the chance to even pull it back if you’re already defeated.

7:24 Playing off your teammates is huge. If I'm solo queuing, I will pick someone by the 2nd round and either roll with them on attack, watching their back, drone them in, combo our util or on defense, I'll combo our ops for a strat. I'm not particularly good at the game, but doing this has made me better and it makes my teammates better. If my teammate dies and Im there, I can swing with some intel or get the trade to keep the numbers game close.

Advice : If you're very new don't be afraid to start small. What i mean by this is for instance. On first round oregon attack 99% of the time its 3rd. Pick whatever operator you want and send it from same spawn you always pick first round. Why? Because if you're going into from a learning perspective, you will learn spawn peeks. You will learn how that operator likes to attack 3rd on oregon. Then expand your operator pool for the site as time goes. Think long term not short and treat every round completely different from the last UNLESS its same site and same side. You will start to develop multiple strats and eventually gravitate towards certain operators for each sight. Then when you get higher elo and know many strats for multiple characters you can start to fill roles. In higher elo people play better so filling roles makes sense as you can lean on team to actually be playing their part more often. In lower elo just focus on what you can do better and learning plays and such. Last tip BE CREATIVE! Just try stuff go, think of plans and send it. See how it goes.

I must say i actually disagree with this. Becouse you make it sound like you die becouse of your choice of operator. Wich isnt the case. You died becouse you didnt play to your choice of operators strenght. You placed yourself in a situation where another operator would have been better.

This is true but your not always put in a situation where you can play too your operators strengths and especially after first round when your getting info on the opponents playstyles id argue that in a lot of situations its better to go "how could I have been in a better position to do what I needed too" rather than "damn I should've been somewhere else doing something else" because sometimes its simply not possible teammate makes a mistake, not expecting a particular strat which makes your operator kinda useless etc etc. its fine to reflect and just say "they were useful I just fucked up" as well but sticking too your main even tho its not efficient because you could've been in a situation where they were useful seems a little self destructive and doesn't allow you to cover holes in utility for your team

I know what you mean, I was stuck on Plat for a couple of seasons, and I eventually moved on to Emerald. It just takes patience. The thing with Plats is that they're usually just Golds with a little better aim, and so they swing everything possible, especially when it isn't necessary. (You could say the same thing about Emerald thought, too, lol).
