@@nat1baby that video is blocked in the uk by KZbin and I understand because it's a show that you can watch in the UK paying for it. the video is here for the international fans that they have millions of them that are not allowed to watch it cause they don't live in the UK. people living in the uk can't watch it anyways here so the earnings from the band from this are not damaged as I said its blocked for people from the uk, like 99% of the videos on this channel

Man...I didn't know what I EXPECTED for them to play after that first song in the small family concert, but those first notes of The Heart Never Lies completely got me. I was crying the entire way through Happiness 😂🤣😂 (while oddly dancing of course too)...cause I'm so happy they made it through that rough patch. Even if we didn't get new music out of this, I'm so happy they resolved their issues...a friendship like that should not go to waste.

I'm SO glad to see this documentary. I was 7 when "5 Colours in Her Hair" was released and I used to have a poster of them on my bedroom door - I was obsessed. I went to both McBusted tours (twice each time!) and even met Harry randomly in Shepherd's Bush in October 2015. I locked eyes with him and was in pure shock - he came over and had a good 5-10 minute chat with me and even took a photo (I had NO makeup on and my hair was scraped up, not the best!). Just a really lovely, genuine man. I'm IVF and we talked about Izzy being pregnant with Lola at the time through IVF. We also spoke about my mum loving him on Strictly and all the years I had loved McFly. I've really ranted on but McFly have always had a special place in my heart. So happy to see them back. Roll on the next tour!!!

Just saw McFly again the other night in Edinburgh, & it prompted me to watch this again! Have seen them live twice since their reunion & they are playing bigger & better than they've ever done! This is so heartbreaking! I met Tom on 2018 when I was working in Disneyland and I can’t describe the feeling inside my chest! I cried a bit and hugged me 2 times, I didn’t want to leave him! This band means a lot for me since 2006!! And I remembered I told him: are you splitting out? And he told me: No, we will back sooner than what you think !!! And 2 years after, they gave us “young dumb thrills” ♥️♥️♥️ This is happiness !!!

I've been a Mcfly fan from the begining until 2012. I felt out of love for the band and the music. I outgrew it, somehow. I have friends to this day that I met thought Mcfly... why I couldn't relate to the band anymore? Now seeing this short-doc, I fell in love with them all over again. I cried SO MUCH. I was reminded why I loved them on the first place, all those years ago. I'll buy and listen to Young and Dumb Thrills happy and comforted.

Everything happens for a reason. The best thing that ever happened to McFly was Doug deciding not to continue. Separation led to consequences and consequences led to caring and caring led to re-union. I just love this band from head to toe.

I felt like when Tom and Dougie started writing together, I felt like it was Toms way of helping Dougie put his focus into something positive after rehab, but I could see Danny feeling the way he did since it had always been him and Tom brainstorming on projects. Communication at that age isn’t always a thing.

I loved every piece of it. I laughed, I cried, I reminisced. And I think it’s the major problem with all bands out there, they claim to be best friends forever, but don’t have a clue how to actually communicate with each other to stay a band AND best friends, best example for that is probably 1D.

nahhh I would not say the same with Mcfly than the rest of bands out there, literally all bands out there 1D included and I like them a lot. they claim to be best friends but they just share the stage, promos, and all that but after that's it everyone goes to their homes and that's it, its literally just that they are colleagues from work. McFLY in my opinion were actually brothers/bestfriends to each other. They even lived in the same area, now three out of 4 live close, they have been always doing stuff with each other even if it was just hang around doing nothing.. you could feel their bond its just different

I can think of only one other example. Marianas trench. They're also a 4 man band, their music is great and they've been to hell and back with each other. They're not just best friends, they're like brothers. They've been a band for over 14 years and started when they too were in their teens. Every single one of them is just so kind, humble, funny and wholesome. They all love each other in a way that most bands can't even dream of

it felt great watching this. this is amazing. the "eat the nachos dougie" got me so bad. ahhh its so good to see they worked stuff out and are back together even stronger than before!!! I was so fucking mad they never released their sixth studio album that now is out as "the lost songs" years ago. I felt like they didnt give a shit about us the fans. I can see this wasnt it at all. but they had a reason why that didnt happen at the time. and now I understand. I teared up as always. Man, life happens.

There's something here about the way they're telling the story that doesn't add up. The thing that's completely missing in this documentary though is the Anthology tour. They're telling it as if McFly stopped in 2015 - Harry says he called a meeting while they "were on tour in Europe with McBusted", which I suppose was during the 1D tour in June 2015. Then there was the "Notting Hill meeting" a couple of weeks later. And then they talk about what they did instead of the band, writing, solo music, whatever. But they did do that Anthology tour in 2016 and I really wonder why they're not mentioning that here. I mean, I thought at the time, through Tom's vlogs and other stuff, that there was something off, the vibes seemed different and obviously it's clear now why. But I don't understand why they still did that tour when Dougie requested that break a year before. Had it already been planned and they couldn't back out anymore? Or are they - for some reason - trying to sell us a different timeline here? However, they are using video material from the Anthology tour, I'm pretty sure that's what the images between 24:30 and 25:02 of them back stage/coming off stage are from. I'm also still trying to work out the timeline of Dougie's addiction - from what he said (loads of insight in his episode on Matt Willis' new podcast which is really good) he must've gone to rehab in 2018, so probably started taking valium in 2016 - do we think he might have already been on it during the Anthology tour? IIrc the tour had to be postponed a couple of months because Harry got injured and Dougie spent a lot of time in LA before that already.. I know I'm probably way over the top but I can't help but notice and be intrigued when things don't seem to fit. And there are still a few question marks around for me on this whole hiatus thing..

There is a big difference between McFly and 1D. Bands that are put together by a label, or a talent show like 1D was, , rarely have longevity.

@@pennylane36 Little mix is still together after almost 10 years and they're genuine friends and sisters and care about each other just like mcfly. It's not about label and talent show's, it's about people and fate. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. 1D were good with each other, they had a great friendships, but they weren't bff, they weren't brother's, they were more like colleagues who built a friendshis in certain circumstances. They're all band mates, they're all colleagues, but if it's meant to be, they will become something more.

I'm from Portugal and i met you whilst on vacation to the UK on my parents RV. Me and my sister "met you" and couldn't stop listening to your songs. McFly became a part of our bonding time

I'm super late to this but I got star girl stuck in my head a couple weeks ago back at work and I decided to jump on Spotify and listen to my childhood and adolescence all time favourite band;the first band I knew all the songs to, the first band I saw live by myself, the first band I properly fangirled over, wrote fics about, subscribed to that weird super city site (and got my art featured on!).
