I found and adapter from Airsoft pro to fit a normal hop and Taiwangun have cheap pistons but nobody is delivering to us atm anyway. 🙄 Can’t find cylinders etc. aaaaand the trigger box is different. I think it’s made by E&C but can’t confirm. It’s a shame as I suspect it may have a bigger cylinder capacity than the normal L96 but I’ve not had time to confirm. Bloody Airsoft lol

@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT I had a well l96, I'm not sure on the compatibility between that and the cyma, even though the hop up is proprietary it may be the same as the cyma, I know maple leaf make a hop rubber for the well a quick Google will find one in stock for £5 in the UK and online you can also find the hop chambers for £15 I did before I sold it have a full metal trigger box and internals I think action army, I think I got that from Airsoftclub years ago, it may be compatible with the cyma worth at least a Google to find out. I do think the well l96 hop up chamber is proprietary, it is ok, I've never tried it with a new hop rubber.

@@mgproryh virtually nothing is compatible between the two. I’ve actually built a completely different gun with it using a substitute but I’ve not had time to film it.

Only person I've seen properly tear it down and take a look at the bolt and bucking. Awesome video! Is the inner barrel in spec with any other brands? Any chance I can/should upgrade the inner barrel?

It's probably my favourite Rif currently ...it just keeps making me smile ...looks like you have the Predator hop bucking which is for heavier BBs....up to .48s ....have got an adaptor from Lee's engineering so I could try out the Nov and Silverback suppressors on it which both fit nicely . Have got a spitfire tracer to try out . The 50 round Co2 mags are good but a little fruity FPS wise ...it's a great gun ,like you I want some more mags and will probably get a couple of green gas long ones . The Unity T1 fast mount looks good on it with a red dot ......AliExpress to the rescue

Yeah I was steering clear of the CO2 for that reason. I agree though, it makes you smile. I really get the same feeling I get from the MP7.....awesome! Lol. I love the Predator hop up in snipers so it’ll be interesting to see how it performs.

I've heard that they are putting out 2 versions of the gun. One with a hop meant for heavy bbs and one meant for lighter average bbs. Wondering if you heard anything about that?

I honestly hadn’t heard anything mate. Would be a strange move by Modify, as you could just change the hop rubber anyway. Let me know if you hear anything.

@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT it is just a different hop rubber ....the Predator bucking is for heavier BBs and they are doing a different bucking if you want to hop lighter BBs ...it is on the Modify owners FB page worth a follow

That’s a modify predator hop rubber, they have the same external ridges and dimensions as the MOD24 (SSG24) hop up rubber. The opening (chamber side) is a tighter diameter than a VSR style hop rubber, may cause leaks between the nozzle and rubber if a VSR style is used. Looks like a cracking little GBB though!
