A very important detail you missed bro i.e For all denting panting work your insurance covers that and for small to very big damages your expense is only 2000 Rs that's the claim fees , but no insurance company will pay for PPF re application so in case of accident all damages will cost 2k but ppf will cost you in thousands again and you have to pay it from your pocket , that's a big big problem .

Really informative. Bro can you make video on ceramic coating. I heard that in ceramic coating process some microns of paint is grounded off and over that polishing will be done with usage of some wax. My concern is if this process removes any micros (5-10 microns) of original paint then it is matter of concern for me because whatever wax they will put it is going to go off over period of time then the original shine of the paint was also wont exist as it was removed initially during the ceramic coating process itself. I don’t know if my understanding is correct. You can explain it better,

Ppf is for people who really loves their car,who wants their car to look good for a long time,but just cause u installed ppf it doesn’t make ur car Bahubali,it don’t save from accidents. Also the more u rub and polish/buff ur clear coat the more it becomes thin.so think and invest.

Sir 85000 divided 13 kr lete... 6500 per panel hisab nikalta aur phir uspe discount le lete 5-5.5k k around nipat jata . Secondaly pura ppf change karane ki jarurt hi nahi thi, half ya damaged area tak ppf cut hota aur naya lag jata . Usmei hardly 1500-2000 kharch ata. Ab apne repaint karaya hoga, ab uss repaint ki measuring krke dekhna kabhi it will show more than 10mils ( very bad paint work) which should be around 5 mils max.

As a professional detailer I would like to give the following information against your points raised : 1. PPF replacement for that dikky panel, we charge approx. 2-3 k only. That studio has quoted you an unreal price. 2. It's right that you can remove swirl marks and light scratches with rubbing compounding, but the maximum no of times you do rubbing compounding on your car should not exceed 2 times as it makes the clear coat very thin which removes the UV protection that Clear Coat provides to protect the colour of the paint underneath and hence make the paint dull very soon due to UV Exposure and paint oxidation. Additionally these days to cut costs manufacturers give very little thickness to clear coat so there is also risk of clear coat peel off if compounding is done more than 2-3 times. 3. Wax never stays for 2-3 months, it lasts max 2 washes. Also it does not form any kind of hard layer that it can take the swirl marks instead of the paint, it doesn't not protect from any kind of swirl marks or scratches altogether, please don't provide wrong info if you don't have good technical knowledge, only thing wax does is gives a very temporary shine which melts off above 30 degrees temperature. So wax is off no comparison to a PPF both are different products with different uses altogether. 4. About the paint peel off with PPF, it only happens when the painting workshop doesn't follow the proper procedure of repainting, because of which the paint adhesion with the body is weak and so it peels of with ppf. Doesn't happen when the workshop is maintaining good painting standards just like factory paint. We are our studio and have our own paint booth and body shop and we provide a warranty against paint peeloff when we do ppf on panels that we have painted. When the panel is painted in other local workshops, we cannot take guarantee for their paint work quality and hence we inform it to our clients in advance and then it is upto them if they wish to go for ppf over it or not. 5. It doesn't matter if a car is very costly or it's not that costly, some owners love their even not so costly cars and want to care for it and keep it in pristine condition, so it is upto them if they want to invest in something which actually protects their cars paint from day to day scratches and paint damages You cannot tag a product bad just because it doesn't work for you. I'd like to say that these small scratches and swirls are the ones that come on a daily basis and these are the ones that bother the car owner the most as these are very small to opt for a full panel paint to fix it but these always keep bothering the owners when they look at it. The greater impacts and dents you are talking about as it is get fixed by the owners so doesn't matter of ppf present or not.
