I'm having to cut an existing wardrobe from 4 doors x45cm to 3 doors. Do you think I would be able to trim the length of these rails and fit 3 doors in there? Tools, cutting skills and re-drilling holes are not an issue. I might need to purchase extra rollers for the third door as the set is for 2 doors only (I guess). Great and detailed video BTW, you should get paid by IKEA to do videos for them. The instructions are not always clear.

My problem is we have just put 4 50cm wide wardrobes up, and for to my floor being unlevel, and the rear wall also being out of wack, 2 of the wardrobes are a few mm higher than the other 2. Do they have to be exactly the same height for the top rail? My only option if so is to plane down the two higher wardrobes as I have no more adjustment left…

HELP please! The videos are SO helpful. Thank you! Can you suggest what we should do? We built the pax wardrobes and put in the drawers, rails etc. When we came to attach the 2 wardrobes together, they are not sitting evenly. Should we take out the interiors then make sure they are at the same height? Should we then install the doors before replacing the interior drawers etc? Sorry for such a long question - you might be able to save us a lot of headaches and money!!

I think IKEA may have updated the design - the end of my top rail looks a bit different; do you have to pre drill holes on each side for the top rail? There are no evident holes present at the front of the wardrobe frame.

On my pax there is a bracket on the inside of the right and left side of the second sliding door, as per instructions once the doors are are attached you need to loosen the bracket insert a little screw with an allen key which releases a latch that goes upwards on the right hand side and down on the left hand side. The right side won't release and is preventing the door from sliding shut. Have you come across this before?

We just purchased the Pax and of course Hasvik doors. The plastic top coverings at 5:40 weren’t included. Looked everywhere. Doesn’t appear in the ‘what’s included’ part of the manual either. Any idea why? And yes, 100% sure I have the pax/hasvik

hi, if you secured the plastics to hold the rails in those little holes (09.00), where will the LEDS lights get attached to?

Depend on your wardrobe if you have shelve on the top than hanging rail : under the shelve if you go in top panel you will get extension with the lights so lights come under the rail. Holes for lights are not pridrilled.

To move this if you have carpet you would have to take the doors off rails off disconnect clothes off and than move and put back. If you have wooden floor it would be easier to slide just don't split the frames when you push them.
