6:36 unfortunately this part may be outdated, newer Ekedalen models don't have that, or at least the small version doesn't.

Just got this table in white as well! I was wondering if the white wood will get dirty/stain if food or drink is spilled on it. I've never had a wooden table before.

Great video thank you! I’ve managed to complete my table except for one leg that I cannot get on. It appears the space isn’t big enough for it to fit. I have tried taking the bracket off an loosening the surrounding screws but I am stuck and really don’t want to have to undo all the work? :)

This is a great video, but don't be too quick to throw the instruction booklet away. IKEA has slightly different versions of their furniture, and the latching mechanism (as well as a couple other minor things) )on the one I assembled was slightly different than the one shown in this video. It would have been difficult to figure out without the booklet.

It’s a socket key that IKEA sends in the package to assemble the furniture. It’s the standard size for their screws.

this design seems different in every video. the sides with the metal rail have 5 holes for long screw in mine and 3 of them are blocked by the metal rail, very annoying
