Hi, you can not process the lidar (points) data of L2, but the rgb images of the sensor can be used to perform PPK. There is a "L2 device" available in REDtoolbox which can read the native L2 data.

Hello. I work with DJI Terra. After changing the coordinates of all the photos, do I import them into DJI Terra exactly as when they were taken with RTK?

We experienced that after EXIF modification in REDtoolbox (for an unknown reason) DJI Terra rejects the updated accuracy values. Maybe we can fix in future, but until then you have to import a *.csv file to define lat/lot/elev and accuracies or define an overall position accuracy of 0.01m to process the [cm] accurate PPK images. Hope my thoughts help :)

Hi until v3.09 of REDtoolbox you have to sum the height values of base station manually. From v3.10 it's an extra field. Hope this helps. Best regards

@@dustin061290 Elevation differences mainly occur due to geoid differences from elliptical to geoid height (did you use the same model, with same spatial resolution?) or 2m is something that might let think of a missing pole height. But you can bring in the dataset including GCPs by creating an ticket: redcatch.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new We will have a look and will find a solution. Btw, the new version v3.1 (available for download on our website) is able to handle geoids during PPK processing: kzbin.info/aero/PLAmbPj4bFWZmTLaUopvvc4gwojlezquXL

Hello, I have the trial version, check the software with DJI M3E photos, when importing the photo, all the files are loaded and placed in green, the time is superimposed, and coordinates are placed manually, but the truth is. I have not been able to process 5 seconds, could it be that the base should be traced in a shorter time, that is, .2 seconds or less?

Sorry you are facing trouble. 5sec base station update rate or 1Hz or 10Hz, everything should be fine. Guess there is something wrong else. Can you please submit a ticket here: redcatch.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new and send first 5 images, drone obs/bin/mrk file and all base station files incl coordinate in WGS84/elliptical? we will have a look

I would also record rinex data at 0.2 seconds, as the p4rtk uses a 5hz receiver. You need to record a gnss track of at least 10 mins, in practice for shorter flights, I pause the flight and hover the drone to make sure I get min 10mins. I also set up the base a min of 15mins before and let it run for at least 15mins after. This ensures broadcast epherimis and good data is recorded regarding satellite orbit's, which is essential for a good ppk solution.

totally agree with 15 min before and 15 min after. 0.2 seconds update rate for a base station to do drone PPK is not required, 1Hz is enough.

I made ths 5hz comment as this recommended by leica when using leica infinity to post process gnss tracks.

@@anthonyosmond2493 I see, interesting. We did tests and the PPK algorithm we use in REDtoolbox even works fine with a rinex measurement rate of 5sec (0.2Hz). But we know from past a syncron update rate for base and rover was important. And guess it's still good to have it right now, but not mandatory any more. best regards

Hello. I write from Chile. I have problems with the height when doing a survey the East and North coordinates are accurate but the Z (height) differs greatly, that is, it is not accurate. I have version v2.77. I also use a Phantom 4 rtk and its software in PPK. Greetings.

Hi, there are many reasons for this. On input: by entring wrong base station height (elliptical), missing ATX antenna information,... On output processing(photogrammetry): inaccurate application of geoid information, wrong focal length (set fix for P4RTK),etc. As a famouse workaround, look at our "REDtoolbox - batch shift RTK coordinate" workflow. @@juanandres4112 hi Juan I had the same issue and it was the antenna calibration file for the base station rinex data, hans sent me a custom script that looked up the offset from the IGS 14.atx file, as long as your base receiver is a calibrated receiver that works, failing that you need to offset the height by the phase CTR offset value for that antenna, if you are using a DJI base it's written on the back of the receiver mounting point. @@anthonyosmond2493 Hi Anthony, thanks for sharing your ideas, I'm telling you that I don't use the base that comes with the DJI PHANTOM 4 RTK, I use a different gnss base for post processing.
