I like the knees over toes guy, but he isn't the best at simplifying things. You've done that with this video, thank you !

Jesus was a Messenger of Allah peace be upon him Jesus is a human being. How can a man with a date of birth be God? How can God come down in human form so that would no longer make him God since the definition of God is to be Supreme and no One is compared to and is the King of all kings and none can match. He has been created like you and me have. Created. A created being cannot be The Creator. He will be in shock as to why you called him God or the son of God when instead he is the Messenger of Allah. He was a human who ate, drank, slept and went to the bathroom with which if he didn’t access these needs he would die. Does God need to rely on food and sleep and drink? How can someone say this?. On top of that Christianity also claims for him to be a Jew? How can he be Jewish?How can he be God or the son of God if he did all of that? And he literally came out of a womb so how can he be called the son of God or God? John 20:17 17Jesus said to her, “Stop holding on to me,* for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God. '” JESUS SAYS “MY GOD AND YOUR GOD” Does God now have a God? No, it is as clear as day through the verses of the bible that he is a slave of God, but not God himself Mark 13:32 32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father If Jesus was God surely he should know the hour too which is such an important piece of knowledge that God possesses yet here it states he doesn't. He is the beloved Messenger of Allah may peace be upon Jesus. my friend think about what you’re saying. You’re saying God walked the earth as a man and ate and drank and slept and answered the call of nature? Then on top of that He was Killed by other men in human form? When we look at other humans we always say look how dumb or weak they are, so imagine putting God as the same creation as them. He showed us how to be good through sending messengers. Like Adam, Noah, Joseph, Jonah, Abraham and Jesus. Why would Jesus be an exception? All these other prophets came before Jesus peace be upon him. Were they wrong since they weren’t around during the time of Jesus? Quran verses [5:75] The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded. [5:78] Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed.

What’s that step up equipment called and where to find?
@ourclarioncall
@ourclarioncall Жыл бұрын
Not sure what the Main thing was called . Think the angled thing is called a slant board . You could probably make the main thing yourself from some wood. It’s 6” at one side and 2” at the other , and that gives a 4” drop from the level to the lower level. So it gives you 2” progressions, 2” to 4” to 6”. You could buy “dc blocks” which are 2” high and stackable but they are not cheap . Greetings from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Could I have one foot on the edge of a box so that my other leg is floating in mid air ….. then when my knee bends forward , my leg that’s floating in mid air will just drop straight down the side of the box Is there a reason or a need for the leg to stick out forward with the heel touching the ground ? I can see that by focusing on getting the heel to touch the ground it makes your other leg bend at the knee a certain distance . I guess where you tap the heel controls how far the knee is going to travel out over the knee and gives you a sort of way of measuring I’m just wondering if it would be better to have an object and inch or two away from the knee so the knee simply has to touch the object . Like a wooden post . So now the focus is on the knee and you have a more observable and measurable way of monitoring your progress and ankle range of motion That’s assuming you can don’t even need to extend the other leg out and can just let it dangle off the edge of a box and let it do whatever it wants without any need to think about it I’m probably missing something here I just got the knee ability zero book today and was reading and looking at the pictures thinking about this

Why do you recommend not adding additional load to the patrick step up? And why not add more than 50% of bodyweight to the other two movements?
@gab_shirohige
@gab_shirohige Жыл бұрын
I know the comment is old, but just wanna answer for future individuals that have the same question. Because patrick step up is not worth of your time to add load (diminishing returns), instead of just moving to the next level/variation. And "why not more than 50% of bodyweight" is simply because the those movements are incredibly hard with excessive load, it just add your risk of injury without really adding more benefits above a certain threshold (risk-reward).

Thank you SO much. I've recently injured my knee 2 weeks ago and was not able to bend it. Couldn't walk up or down the stairs without pain in the front of the knee (I think it's patella tendinothopy) I've just tried a set of the Patrick and have to go real slow and not too deep to stay out of pain but I'm determined to get better . Your video is very very helpful and I'm very grateful 🙏

It’s difficult to tell from the video, but are you supposed to lock your knee at the top of the motion for any of those movements? I have tried the Patrick step and i can’t straighten my left knee at the top of the movement and wasn’t sure if it was necessary or even if it was advisable to lock the knee.
