My brother and I have been trying to play Phantasy Star Portable 2 together for quite some time, but even with these methods, we can't get it to work. I've seen multiple forum threads where people have gotten it to work, but they either explain it in a coding language I can't understand, or they blow us off completely. THANK YOU, it worked! Tested it on GTA: Vice City Stories with the default port offset. Some games do have sensitive netcodes but I haven't tested them yet. I have high latency on Zero Tier One. Radmin VPN is better on my case.

I've got several questions regarding of your tutorial. 1.UPnP. I can't find UPnP device because I'm using phone's hotspot. Should I replace it or any way to fix it? 2. Game. Have you ever played another game that has multiplayer like Initial D Street Stage? Cuz there are some games that can't be played online. Note: Holysh*t! You made the tutorial easier and up-to-date than I do for Initial D Street Stage. And yeah, it worked. Now I'm trying to solve that UPnP sh*t for online play. Awesome vid!

The UPnP method require to play using a wifi router,in you case, your alternative would be the vpn method

@@akjoao378 which game are you trying to play as ppsspp 1.9.0 is quite old and some game got their multiplayers mode fixed on 1.11 Be sure that you enabled as well build in pro ad hoc server when trying the multiple instance and that the ip is "localhost"

Are both device connected on the same wifi(or using wifi hotspot?) And have you put the same ip on both devices? Also the host device MUST open a lobby before the second device join

I get the error when the second player tries to connect to the game, first instance initializes the network fine and can set up a host game. Any suggestions?

Sometime that mean the router need to restart or UPnP isn't working properly, either try vpn method or try the warpvpn method(I uploaded a guide for recently check the pinned comment or description)

First of , tekken 7 never released on psp, only tekken 5 and 6 I believe, and have you tried playing with a friend or with random people cuz the odd to find someone using the same port offset on same game on same ip are low

Yeh they do, just note that mobile require a port offset higher than 1024 so be sure both the PC and the phone have the same port offset for example 1500

In that short example I was using the keyboard to control individually, I d say maybe you should make 2 ppsspp folder at 2 separate location so you can Map one controller for each instance

This guide was great for local but I'm having trouble with the PC to PC specifically on Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy 012. I'm able to see friends and other players online but when a match is requested and excepted it stops working and freeze any suggestions? I have a hunch that it could be the resent version of PPSSPP v1.16.4

That may be because the game you re trying to play has a very sensitive netcode that doesn't like when the 2 player are far from each others, what game are U trying?

Hey! I really liked how very easy it was to follow in your video! Still, I was wondering if you could explain me a certain issue me and my brother are facing whenever we're using a public server to play together. Basically, in games like Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, whenever we entered the same lobby, we never could see our characters. This happened most of the time, because there were times where we actually connected all fine, but that wasn't very frequent. We are using Windows 10 laptops, and we are playing close together, so i'm not sure if that has to do with it. I did try using mobile data with VPN like the one you recommended while my brother went with the internet IP address, but we still couldn't consistently match together. I would really appreciate if you have a solution for this if possible!

well my guide apply to both android and pc(i only specified for the multiple instance that its PC only as no android or ios phone can use multiple instance like on pc), the only thing to keep in mind is that android users must have a port offset above 1024 for some games, and i didn t added instruction for mobile hotspot as the ip is always 192.168.43.1 for the host of the hotspot

Video is almost perfect (only shade i would pinpoint on it is when you forgot to randomize mac address for the client in VPN last part lol) but anyway you definetly gave us all the tricks bro and btw the IP won't be a constant if you using a Samsung Galaxy phone to host (I used one in fact) So I would like to ask u three extra-questions regarding all this if u don't mind pls: 1st Question: Do u know why hamachi won't work as VPN alternative on this recent PPSSPP version although it did work on the app on old versions (very prior to this recent one and maybe some other ones on the recent list are not compatible too) 2nd Q: A game that "Offset Port" requires a value above 1024 on Android to work means it can't be experiencing online play with a real PSP if you host it on Android right, or is there any possible solution to surmount this rather than just switching to a computer cuz imagine we wanna play a "duel" set online using three different devices, what would they be then? 3rd Question: Okay not really an imperative one but since I play a game that's really dead by now but still a classic, I was wondering do u know if there is a network I mean like an alter- version of HunsterVerse for MH games but for Yu-Gi-Oh! @@thespeedforce3871 for the question : 1st: normally hamachi should work fine whatever version you use, it might be something on your pc/phone end that is an issue. 2nd: indeed, sadly some games can't be played between a real psp and android phone(some other do use high port and so doesn't require port offset for example ratchet and clank size matter)

Well the original psp need to have the pro online plugin installed and be connected to the same wifi as the ppsspp and port offset on ppsspp must be at 0(so that mean it wont work for Android and ios for most of the games) also some game just wont work as the pro online plugin on psp is quite outdated and old

Infrastructures is the game's actual online mode which use a server, you want to play through ad hoc

You could try the mobile hotspot method, basically enable mobile hotspot on your phone then connect your pc to the phone's mobile hotspot and then follow what I did in the "local multiplayers same wifi" section of my guide, just change the ip to 192.168.43.1 and be sure *only* the phone has build in pro ad hoc server enable
