In this episode of RBN let us listen to Pr Rajan Adoor. The scripture portion is Gospel of Mark Chapter 35 from verse 35 to 43. Here we read one of the miracles of our Lord Jesus during his earthly ministry.
As we know, Jairus was a synagogue leader , a man with authority. But he fell down at the feet of Jesus, like at the feet of a king. When coming to Jesus, our earthly authorities are of no value.
The daughter is visibly dead; but Lord Jesus who can see beyond what is visible to us, says she is not dead and subsequently the girl is brought back to life as we see in the portion of the scripture.
What seems to us lost, can be restored; dead promises can be brought to life by our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah
