"All my time searching for it would not be payed off simply by achieving it. Rather, it was the experience itself that was the /only/ pay off." A tough concept to explain so clearly. The way this video made me feel really took me by pleasant surprise. Thanks!

Thank you GoldVision, for sharing your loadout and settings at the end. A game as confusing as agario can be overwhelming when it comes to class choice.

You have a calm gamer mentality that I like. I find myself getting to serious sometimes when gaming, getting annoyed and angry instead of just enjoying the game. Example Planetside 2 I like the game, I suck at all FPS games but still play. I found myself getting pissed off last night getting owned, put the game down relaxed with the wife and remembered I suck at fps I should expect to banker. After hearing this it help give a good mindset when playing. Thanks good vid you have a new Subscriber

It's possible to break the traditional rules of Agar.io For example, I once made it to rank 8 by only eating pellets (not other players). Although I did get help from others once they realized what I was doing. Another time I named myself "FortBuilder" because my goal was not to rise in rank but to create a fort made out of viruses at one of the corners. Big guys had to stay away from the fort or risk being forcibly split. This lead to the fort becoming a haven for little guys. Lastly, in team mode, the color Blue was dominating the game for a while now and my team (Red) nor the Green team could get its bearings to fight back. So I named myself "GreenAlliance?" to see if Green was willing to help Red team and vise versa, they were. With our combined might and guerrilla tactics Blue and Green team ended up equally controlling the game.

I did check it out. It was a surprisingly interesting game for such a simple concept, but its nature as a competitive environment meant I was drawn into frustration and a single-minded cancerous mindset and I ended up leaving after I got messed up while I had managed to get myself onto the leaderboard lest I give myself a stomach ulcer or something. I can appreciate that it is good but I hate it. Competitive environments do not play nice with my mood.

MGlBlaze My thoughts exactly when I played it. Some people thrive on competition, others on cooperation. I am one of the latter, but this game had little room for people like me.

MGlBlaze The social aspect is very intriguing. Feeding large predators, aiding allies around your size. While not everyone returns your kindness, it IS reciprocated vastly more then games like DayZ. Good fun too, it's like poker mixed with a Mexican blob standoff. Knowing when to run, when to split, taking chances, using larger foes as defense, etc.
@GreyscaleInferno9 жыл бұрын
The social aspect is far and away the most fascinating part of the game for me. It's astonishing the kinds of connections you can make when given even bare minimum ability to communicate. I remember vividly one time I and two other blobs were vying for supremacy when suddenly one of the blobs started giving me mass and let me defeat the third blob. I could have immediately split and devoured my benefactor, who was now much smaller, but I was grateful so I tried my best to communicate my thanks through a series of excited bobs and wiggles before going on my way. To my surprise, my new friend decided to tag along. It was actually a tremendously useful mutually beneficial alliance. My friend was light and fast, while I was large and powerful. They could maneuver quickly to corner prey and to align virus shots, while I cleaned up the mess. Together we managed to get me to the top of the scoreboard. Finally I had other obligations to meet and had to stop playing, so as a final thanks I abdicated my throne by giving my old friend all of my mass and letting them absorb me. It was a fitting end.
