Hello Prabh, thanks for many resources. I think confirmation is the part of detection phase. I checked from CBK, Response title is starting with "Triage is an early-stage response process for confirmed incidents", and Detection title is ends with " analyst reviews the incident and conducts some basic research to determine if the incident is legitimate or a false positive".

Hi Prabh, I am a little confused with the question that states "During the response phase of the incident management, Team does the initial reporting. What is the primary goal of reporting at this phase". My confusion is based on the fact that neither CBK or NIST defines the requirement to 'report' at the 'response' phase. CBK states to report after mitigation phase. And NIST states to report as part of containment phase. So according to those, there is no requirement to report at the 'response' phase. Are they perhaps following some other framework? Can you please explain? Thank you

Not sure if you are here to learn Grammar (not grammer) or here to learn large topics broken down and on how to interpret a question. Infact the first letter of the starting sentence is usually upper case letter. PS: English is not my 1st language so you can ignore my grammar mistakes if any.
