This is on a level that is hard to process... I have been in love with Tabla (as an American) since Highschool... & of course, I love Zakir.. and then Trilok... and countless others... but as a professional drummer that grew up loving the rawness, craziness and power of John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and Stewart Copeland (the Police)... then Fusion drummers like Lenny White (Return to Forever)... jazz drummers like Tony Williams, Elvin Jones & Andre Ceccarelli... and of course the King: Vinnie Colaiuta... Tabla drummers have always left me wanting more. Trilok delivers the fire and complexity on the drum-set... like a wild and all powerful animal... but, it’s not the same spirit on the Tabla. But now... here from who is clearly one of the greatest masters of all time... PRABHU EDOUARD... I have seen it all. PRABHU, I could not possibly be more impressed and in awe of your ability to play and express yourself... and who you are as a musician. You have given me so much inspiration !!! Thank you so much for believing in yourself and in music so much in order to develop your passion to such a unimaginably high standard. WOW !!! WOW !!! WOW !!! You sir are the amazing combination of the beauty, mystery and complexity of tabla mixed with the fire, passion and rawness of the drum-set. Unbelievable !!!! I’m sure that many others know that you’re incredible... but it’s hard to know or understand just how amazing you are. I’ve been playing tabla and drumset and listening to and studying all of the other masters out there my whole life... you, Prabhu are among the very few, greatest masters of all time. BRAVO !!!

Truly touched by your kind words. Each maestro you’ve named are among my inspirations along with my mentor Pt. Shankar Ghosh, and I see the very long way I still need to go in their fingersteps.
