People who deteriorate Navratri by commenting that it’s a mating season, girls wear backless blouses and revealing outfits and attract guys, maximum sale of condoms is during Navratri, and so on. Such people should watch this garba. This is the original and traditional garba where only ladies perform the garba and men are not involved, all the ladies sing traditional songs praising the god and goddess. There are no Bollywood songs. If you notice even these women are wearing a backless blouse but the they drape their chundadi/odhani in such a way that the open back isn’t visible. There’s no body exposure apart from hands and feet. That’s the Gujarati culture and tradition. It is the today’s modern generation (some of them and not the whole modern generation) who has ruined the essence of this great festival. Maa Ambaa kare ke aavo swarna kaal sheharo ma pan aave k jyaa aapdi ben dikrio needar sheriye sheriye garba ramti thaay ne navi navaay na Gujaratio ane anya loko ne pan khabar pade ke aapda garba ketla paawan che ne pehla kevi rite ramaataa hata. JAI JAI GARVI GUJARAT 🙏🏻
