I love this Winnie! Great ideas! Thank you so much for sharing. When I had my bunny I made him a diy "bun"galow 2 meters by 1meter with a latch and hinges so that it could be taken apart when I needed to clean it. I also got him an ikea doll bed and mofidied it with a pull out drawer on castors beneath to store his bunny toys😂 he loved his daily exercise time in his 6m sq playpen. We were renting at the time so unfortunately I couldn't let him free roam. I also love cats😻 Nix is blessed to have such a safe place to play💕

Thank you so much!! Ahhh that's good to know. My kitten seems to look pass my plants too, unless some leaf is blowing in the wind in which case it will catch her attention. She does also occasionally scratch the rug but that's about it! Wow!! 16 years. How amazing!!

Lovely project. I think if you can find a way of raising the window seat, she will use it. Cats love to look out of the window. Perhaps you could build a raised window seat? Or could you cat-proof your balcony?

Thank you for watching! The better mesh is thicker and quite difficult to bend. Whereas the ones you usually see around esp in hardware shops are normally the thin ones.

I tried looking for mesh. stainless mesh and the biggest was only 1in x 1in. I"m looking for something like yours with bigger mesh is it 2in x 1 inch? Thanks!!

You mean the windows? Yes, the metal grill is like a door with hinges, and the wire mesh is attached to the metal grill. When I open the latch, the metal grill swings open together with the mesh.

You can consider protecting your sofa with chic blanket throws. And you need to make some scratch post or buy scratch mat. My poor sofa and dining table chairs and bed corners was scratched by my cat. :(

Arghh poor you!!! We have scratch pads already, i think that's why the little one doesnt scratch our sofa or any furniture 🙂 hope she stays good like that!

but how do you open the window if the screen of wire is infront of the handle?

It's not really a problem, normally I just open the grill to open and close the windows, like I did when I attached the screen. Most of the time I keep the windows open unless it's raining heavily and rain is coming in.
