Cesar, I followed your steps carefully, as this was my first ever experience with Dynamo. It worked with parking elements. However, I created some walls, copied them to clipboard, then pasted Aligned to the same place. Then I ran the dynamo routine. Both the originals and the copies were deleted. Any thoughts?

Robert, this method works for component families, not system families (walls, ceilings, roofs).
