I’d never be able to sleep in my car or camper on a busy road. I always imagine some gobshite will come along and smash into me. Even car parks too near the road are fairly rough with the traffic noise and I’m a heavy sleeper.

I think that loads of us started car camping as practical car camping, my first one saved me a couple of hundred quid on hotel bills. It did the same to and from the Pyrenees back in September. Now it's just an extra excuse! 😁 Just waiting for Mrs W to finish cooking the Saturday night Ruby and after watching you cook yours I am starving lol.

I'm thinking after a curry, PP needs to work too ☺️ I'm cat sitting over Chrimbo, but still plan on sleeping in Hetty...I got the gearbox sorted, new clutch, and insured for another year, so I'm chuffed 😊...though flat broke till I m paid. Yes, urban camping can be a pain sometimes, but generally okay I find, and convenient, which is a great feature. 👍✨
