Love all ur hacks simple and so easy to do. Just one small suggestion i too used to reuse cardboard boxes until 2 pest control guys told me that card board boxes attract cockroaches especially in the kitchen. I researched on it and it's true. Because they feed on cardboard since it's organic. Just thought I'd share it. Please don't misunderstand me. Loved all ur tips 🙏😊
@TalkingMom2 жыл бұрын
Hi Denise, that’s a news to me. But I am glad you shared. I will do some more research around because We all also have a lot of wood in the kitchen which falls into the organic category. But I am glad you highlighted. Much appreciate 😊❤️

Hello dear Saw your video for the first time and it was instant connect. 😍 I am soooooo happy that a KZbinr is not encouraging to purchase new things from the market for organizing our homes. Our previous generations were very wise in reusing, repurposing and recycling things. Thank God there are people like you who can successfully influence more people to practice the same. I am in the practice of these three Rs genuinely and so appreciate your efforts. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Keep it up dear. Waiting for more ideas....

Reusing /repurposing isn't actually a new thing . It has been a practice that our mothers, grandmothers and their grandmothers have done. But over the years it just went out of our minds as we chose convenience over conservation. Now that our existence is in danger , slowly some of us are trying our best to revive our planet and that's highly appreciated. Slow and steady always wins the race... Kudos to you ... Keep rocking 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It's good to see your Thoughtful ideas to reuse and recycle. I too use cardboard boxes as storage box, drawer organizers, some diy games for my kid etc. Beautiful furniture can be made from cardboards, I was looking for someone who does this. Just one suggestion: please avoid using tissues papers as fresh tree are being cut for meeting increasing demand of these. From last 2-3 years, we haven't used any, and I can vouch it's do-able. Even my toddlers say no to tissue and spread the word of someone use it in front of her Hope, you'll try this and encourage your viewers about the same
@TalkingMom2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for all the good words. I will surely try to incorporate your suggestion as much as possible. :)
@krishnarao37682 жыл бұрын
Yes....no tissues! With a little bit of work, one can cut up old cotton kurtas, towels, sheets into small squares and machine stitch the edges. You can then wash them thoroughly and use any disinfectant. Dry them out and you have a stack of handkerchief size wipes which you can put in a tissue dispenser box or make one with disposable plastic containers and keep them in various places, like bathrooms and kitchen. You could keep a small basket or bucket to collect the used ones for washing!

Even my pest control guy told me not to keep cardboard boxes in kitchen as they are home to cockroaches. Sometimes we get these transparent / amber colored body wash/shampoo dispensers from brands like plum,wow. I just remove the sticker and reuse these bottles for soap, dishwash dispenser, these bottles also add to aesthetics. @ishikasinghal55492 жыл бұрын
More than any hack in the video, i loved the thought of doing a little for the planet, I also do few such things not to save money but to repurpose the things that we will anyway throw out and it remains there for ages... I am a biotechnologist by profession, so I very precisely know how much time does it take to degrade things naturally and how do they affect the environment...
@TalkingMom2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the thought that repurpose is not always about money. It’s more of a concern. With the change in environment, Reusing things should be a necessity more than a choice. I will not say I 100% repurpose but I am trying, learning and getting conscious with each passing day. This attempt itself is enough to bring a change. 😊

Super 👌. I really do most of re-use that you showed. I collect bubble wrap and use within plats and glasses. And in drawer. Use box of big butter packing in my cuttlary cup board, balloon for cover small empty milkshake bottles of verka it looks beautiful ,black plastic paper bags come in online shopping i used them in all my cupboard etc and even under my plant's pots.. and so so much things. But my mother in law insult me so much and make fun of me, that it's poor people habits while we are good enough, which discouraged me. But after so many yrs now i don't care.
