Kirby is literally meant for beginners. I mained Kirby when I first started playing back in the melee days, Olimar in Brawl, and Then i picked up Pacman and Robin in Smash 4 and Ultimate. Kirby’s jumps are considered good because he can control where he wants to be vertically by mixing up his jumps and fast falls… it can be challenging to figure out what kinda landing / aerial options he’s going for and he can shark platforms with aerials really well. It’s not really about how far he can go vertically.

@@iman5147 You could argue that it Balances the Playing field, but you could also argue the exact opposite since The amount that some characters can recover depends on their Percent, like Lucario, but he can't utilize any of his potential because he starts at 0%. Now I'm not saying that everyone should start at whatever percent is most convenient for them, but I am saying that there should be a set percent that isn't 0, especially because, realistically, a character would never be knocked off the stage at 0%. I'd say 50% or maybe even 90% (For half Lucario Aura) would make more sense than 0%. And before you say it, yes, this is a video just used to show how Average Kirby is, but I don't see anything wrong with adding a starting Percentage of 50% or 90%.

Pretty cool but impractical for some, Kirby's jump recovery is still one of the best because of how simple it is, sure other characters can get higher but it requires tricks, attacks in mid air, or precise timing. During combat with stressful opponents waiting for you and attacking, it'll make things harder.
