Guys, the main thing you need to do is eliminate your doubts. If you're unsure about something, you're probably not going to use it correctly, The same goes for learning new things make sure to understand them clearly first. As a language teacher I had wanted to send this video to my high level students, before I heard about 3-4 hours studying. It will be way too overwhelming, even divided in small chanks. Noone have so much time nowadays. It will scare learners .

Probably he can write it. I believe that the problem that he is suffering , is related with phonetic listening, remember that the listening phonemes speech, are a bit differently from one country to another. For example english Language's native from UK your phonetic speech is different from American Standard native people's speech ,in New York, for example. On the other hands, each city like London for example, the pronunciation speech is different how native people's speaking, from scottish people's accent, it difficult to understand. I believe that the main trouble about this man , is earring another australian people'accent is hard. When people is old, there are a lack of getting used to this new environment.
