When holding a normal straight handstand, are you also supposed to round your back like you talk about in the kick up?

If you are at a beginners stage then yes. Because rounding the back = flat back. You can't actually round in a handstand but if you try to do so, then this engages your chest in a way that flattens your back. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5CshKR8odF0msU

Hi Natalie! Das hast du wirklich sehr gut erklärt! Ich werde trotzdem am Boden bleiben. 😉 Zumindest vorläufig. Mein Ziel ist momentan noch der Press zu HS! Der ist wirklich sehr schwer.

Ja das stimmt, der braucht Zeit! Auf eine Erhöhung hochzuspringen kann ein guter Zusatz zum Training sein, man muss vielmehr in die Schultern drücken und das gibt generell gut Kraft. Muss auch keine hohe Erhöhung sein.
