What an amazing quality Livestream!!! Even as a non-musician myself, this was extremely educational and gave me a new way to appreciate Mozart's pieces as a listener. Your explanations, interpretations and the whole guidance were just so interesting to listen to. Thank you!

I like the way you teach and express what you’re doing. When I’m not practicing (I live in a condo, so my hours -well, I can go unit About 8 pm at the latest until I worry someone will call the cops 😜). So I watch your videos...Eddy’s videos. Of course I have my teacher, but you articulate what you do in a way that resonates with me a lot, thank you for posting. I played until I was 23 then had to choose between dance, acting, and violin. So I’ve had a long break and am dealing with what I call “coming out of a coma”-it’s like this musical amnesia and it’s all coming back...in any case, thank you for posting. I appreciate all your master class videos. 🙏🏼

I'm not a musician, yet this video is very entertaining😃♬ Because I love Mozart 5 and recently listened to the competition video Ziyu He played. Your explanations help enjoy the music even more! And your playing is beautiful!! You’re too perfect, OMG. By the way, I’m looking forward to the explanation of the last solo cadenza of 1st mov. It sounds like two violins are playing on one😳 I wonder how you guys do that. Just magical to non-musician audience like me!

This was amazing! Thank you so much for truly sharing your gift with us!!! I’ve been pulling out concerti to really delve into (like in college days) again. Bruch, Mendelssohn, Mozart, etc while I have so much more time to practice. Ps since you’ve never played a Haydn concerto, maybe look into the C major. Love it 😄

Hi, thank you Ray. It was nice to re-practice this piece after long time! yes, it is Suzuki vol.9. Actually there is a Bach a-minor violin concerto in Vol.7. But to me also, this Mozart No.5 is like "THE CONCERTO" that I learned for the first time because of the much more difficult technique than the pieces I have learned til vol.8. And cadeza killed me (not now, though).

Ray is very good at musical analogy...just like his Tea House staff and customers. Very descriptive and helpful. I think maybe, that creative minds in general are good at analogies...

I love your playing Ray! Please narrate more often! It’s very honest of you to translate with narrative! I am unfortunately no longer able to do my Morgan Freeman voice because I’m no longer a child or teenager, so I can’t help you out there. Sorry. I love your interpretation of this concerto though! It’s actually almost identical to the way I did it which had been like a decade ago lol. 😊🧸

Great seeing and hearing you. Ray ,there's someone trying to talk as if its You, and ultimately he was trying to get money in a tricky way like, "ive lost all my intellectual Datas and it was a smart card , as I've paid all my invoices, you can buy a internet Shops where you can buy for me and send!" As i asked for how much? €10 or €20,- and asked for € 200,- 😄 I immediately told him that I'll give this case. He was then "so" worried and afraid. So be careful and safe.

debating on whether or not I should take on a ton of student loans just to follow my dreams after highschool and go to music university and become a world class violinist (hopefully). I'd be dropping med school. I just don't know. advice?? (: I really want to follow my dreams but I don't want to be unhappy and stressing about money.
