No.. v will be greater Correct is option b The colour with least wavelength is deviated/refracted the most. Violet has least wavelength therefore it deviates the most, and red has highest wavelength hence it deviates the least. Therefore (b) ✓

My answer is absolutely correct dear Since violet bends the most and the bending is towards the normal so it makes smaller angle with the normal as compared to the red. Refer to the diagram pls.

Your diagram contradicts what you say the correct answer is. The diagram is correct. Red light refracts less than violet light. Clearly, the angle of the refracted red beam, as measured from the incident beam, IS LESS than the angle of the violet refracted beam. Thus B is the correct answer.
