Since always. It messes with their gums and teeth and it messes with their speech. Children who are given pacifiers are more prone to speech disorders like lisps. It changes the shape of your cleft palate when you constantly suck on something. No baby needs to constantly suck on a pacifier. People survived for thousands of years before they were invented and it was very rare to have speech disorders back then.

They shouldn't be using them for a long time like when they are 3. It ruins the shape of teeth and mouth. After certain age they should stop using them.

If they just switch he'd to a new one every month or so, there wouldn't be a problem at all, that's what my mom did with me, and I stopped using them at about 18 months from what she told me
