that is a very interesting yngwie malmsteen strat, got 22 frets like the 1988-1998 models but a 6 screw trem like the 1999-present ones, what is the story of it? also thats a great lesson vid tbh simple and clear

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the lesson! So yes basically the story behind that Yngwie Strat is that it is a bit of a hybrid guitar. The body is from a 1960s strat, and the neck is a separate piece that was scalloped and put together with the body. It had 21 frets initially, but the previous owner added on a 22nd fret. Also it only has two knobs instead of three which I love because now the third knob doesn't get in the way of my alternate picking technique 😆🤘🏻
