Does a B footjoint help flute intonation?

I often hear the statement that a b footjoint on a flute has better intonation than a C footjoint flute. Is that true?!
Watch as I demonstrate with a tuner this Tomasi S10 with B foot compared to no footjoint at all! What do you think??

It would be interesting to test the intonation of the extended register with both a c and b foot joint. I believe I will be getting a c footjoint to go on this flute at some point. But most people don't need to play in the extended register, and certainly most students don't.
