Playing the oboe absolutely rocks!! I had a wonderful practice this afternoon, playing a few classical pieces, and very pleased indeed with my Howarth Academy medium soft reeds which produce a lovely tone. It’s very nice, the trick is just really engaging the diaphragm and opening the throat. Make sure it’s diaphragm, not lip vibrato through
